And the bookmarkers that like the banners, they like wanna jerk off all weekend, so a 3 day trial will sell well on a friday-saturday and a 5 day trial on thirsday night so they jerk off until sunday night before they cancel or something..

I'm sure there is a clientele that signups every weekend to jerk off, and then keep tgo for the week. I mean come on, how many 1.99$ trial is there to fill there weekend?

Thats like 8$ a month instead of 40$

I think I will setup a site like that this in september, so I get the college clientele. friday night to sunday night. 5$ rebill every weekend.

Well it's a good idea to make Your trial not so cheap.

You see there's no really much difference between $1.95 or $5.95 for most of decent human beings...

One little tip I suggest is check out http://www.wordtracker.com They have a free trial program that you can run as many times as you want.

Enter a few keywords you want to target, and it will give you alternative selections. You can select up to 30 keywords, or combinations of keywords then poof..it shows you how many requests there have been made on Alta Vista for the past 24 hrs, and how many competing sites. It also gives you what they call KEI Analysis, how "good" the keyword is given these factors.

I've found some niche keyword combos this way that you can sprinkle in your pages for SE fodder.

I've never tried the paid version, but it will search all the major search engines and give you the same info.

I found one that was a misspelling that had a KEI of like 4000, (400 is good) and not a misspelling I would have considered. I thought that was kinda neat.

Quick tips (what I found else in my mind):

1. First 5-10 positions (the first block so to say) in the niche toplist are more profitable then others. Why? Idiots and newcomers click there. While those who click lower are generally more experienced (read "pay less").

2. "Exclusive content for a paysite is a very good thing" - a myth. A normal person can not remember every fucking porn model in the world.
They care about QUALITY content. Not exclusive.
Though:

3. Every client of a paysite most likely may be also a client of 3-5 paysites as easy as that. Take that into consideration while thinking about absolutely the same content.

BTW, about.com writes reviews on free sites as well as pay sites, and when they do their traffic is of a better quality than any SE can ever send you.

Here are a few tips, mostly dealing with galleries and TGP submitting:

1: When making galleries, don't pay too much attention to the overall look and feel of the gallery. I had galleries designed by so-called professionals that had a CTR of 1:80 or worse, while something I quickly slapped together in notepad have been converting with a CTR of 1:12. (CTR = Click-trough-ratio from gallery to sponsor)

2: If you have a catch-all/star-alias e-mail setting on your domain (i.e. whatever@yourdomain.com ends up in your inbox) -- use it! Whenever you enter your e-mail somewhere, name it as company@yourdomain.com and use it track who sells your e-mail to spamlists. You will be amazed how many "serious, high-profile" companies do this.

3: Don't be afraid of working "hard not smart" in the beginning. While you may spend a lot of time doing tedious tasks, it is essential to the things right the first time. Example: I see a lot of newbies jumping right onto autosubmitters because it seems easier. What they should be doing, is researching, learning how different sites work and submitting to a bunch by hand. When they have build up some experience, they can begin experimenting with autosubmitters and other tools to make life easier.
You can always optimize and expand later and you are generally not under timepressure so learn to fight that eagerness :-)

4: Content, sponsor and gallery design must fit together. Don't list hardcore teen action if your sponsor only promotes softcore posing shots.

5: Don't focus too much on numbers. A 100,000 hits to your gallery with a CTR of 1:15 is better than a 500,000 hits to a gallery with a CTR of 1:100.

6: That being set, do focus on optimizing whatever part of your site isnt't working. Are you getting enough hits to the gallery? Is your CTR from gallery to sponsor working? Is your sponsor converting well enough?

Allow yourself to make mistakes, but learn by them and never give up

Tip #2: If you have to wait 5 minutes every time you hit Ctrl+S on your keyboard, time to upgrade your RAM - I have 1GIG+ and can run many programs and HUGE psd's with no problemo
