Twistys Treat of the Year 2011 finalists are up!

Twistys treat of the year is an annual event that involves our members to vote for their favorite model.
The nominees are picked according to member's rating throughout the year.
Twistys plan on taking the treat of the year to all new heights when the announcement is made.
She will get The Twistys Royal treat while shooting new sets in our LA studios with Limousine service + big surprises that will be kept under wraps.

We plan on doing a strong campaign around that event to pick the curiosity of the general public as well as create an involvement in twistys community.
Twistys facebook and Twitter's page that count over 23 000 followers will be filled with surprises and incentives to vote for their favorite.
To be eligible to vote, a membership is required while the 1$ trial for 2 days is still effective with the 30 pps or 70% revshare.

Yeah I guess you could say that. Shap hired me back in late February to run the Twistys members area, book the models, schedule content and so on. Then Manwin bought him out so here I am :)

I liked the Twisty's stuff a whole lot better when it was shot a lot by Dean. This stuff all looks like Matrix's flatly lit bad hair and make up chop shop style content you can see anywhere and everywhere.

I don't blame Shap for trying to cut corners at the end so he could maximize profits and get the most out of his deal but I do think Manwin should restore Twisty's to the standard it once set - imo it used to be the best glamour hardcore ever, bar none.

It actually wasn't cost cutting. We spent a lot of the last year listening or focusing on what our member's wanted. A lot of what they wanted had less to do with glamourous photos that look great on a magazine cover and had more to do with the depth of the set and explicitness of it. As a result our production team requested and pushed harder for that type of content. I'm not sure which is better. The cost is pretty much the same. I think one (glamourous) sells better and the other fully pleases members better.

Interesting. Kind of like the inverse of our situation where people ask for it to be more amateur but then rate the stuff that is less amateur higher...

I certainly give you tons of credit for truly listening to your members - most paysites don't and just assume whatever will do.

Thanks. It was interesting. Content that I would have thought would have done better didn't. Not because it was glamourous but because it wasn't explicit enough. So we pushed more production to our more explicit photographers. Members' tolerance is much lower than it used to be imo. They want harder and harder and seemed to feel it was a ripoff to pay for a membership and not have the model get explicit for them.

Is Dean still shooting for Twistys? I ask because I can see leg vains in some of these girls. Something that Dean always edited out.
