just a punk 12-10-2012 06:12 PM

I'll never understand... why people do this?

dommyb 12-10-2012 06:14 PM

I had a friend Bonnie Skye that died a few years ago from shooting up roxys. She wasnt even 21 yet. Its sad to see these young girls die so young.

just a punk 12-10-2012 06:17 PM

Drugs...

dommyb 12-10-2012 06:19 PM

I am not sure if drugs were the cause of Katie King's death.

I don't understand suicide either.

Two years ago a family we are friends with was torn apart by suicide. Their kid had a best friend who lost his life, his girlfriend dropped him at the same time, and his grades in high school was dropping quickly. He killed himself. It's hard to understand why; I know his parents are great and kind and loving.

The end result is our town has a new charity we all pitch in for, and we've had a lot of discussions with our kids about it. Kids go through some funky stages and sometimes feel so lonely. They need to know they are loved.

Fuck, my father died when I was a baby, my mother was cold and heartless, and my step father could have cared less about me. Not once did I think about suicide.

jscott 12-10-2012 06:49 PM

Who is Katie King? what did she do? I google'd and see an ice hockey player, is that her?

edit: ok i see, adult model chick :( rip

Killswitch 12-10-2012 06:58 PM

I'm with jscott, who is she?

R.I.P. Suicide is never the way out.

NaughtyRob 12-10-2012 07:53 PM

RIP. I hate to see this.

fitzmulti 12-10-2012 07:53 PM

Very very sad to hear...we had spoken (via twitter) about possibly shooting if she came to AVN.
RIP Katie.

V_RocKs 12-10-2012 08:50 PM

I don't understand... She was always smiling in her videos.

No idea she was depressed.

That's a shame. Young people usually lack the perspective that older people have. Whatever problems and issues she had would have probably been long forgotten just a few short years down the road.

Caldo 12-11-2012 02:27 AM

Very said R.I.P. Katie :(

BlackCrayon 12-11-2012 05:39 AM

must of been a troubled girl. very sad. unless you are terminally ill or so mentally ill that you just can't function, life can change, it can get better..if you want it to.

John-ACWM 12-11-2012 05:39 AM

Sad. RIP

Dont you realize that the level of signal-substances in your brain play the biggest part when it comes to suicide? A person will lower levels of serotonin and dopamine is more likely to get into suicide-thoughts than a person with higher levels.

Exactly this.

Anyone bringing unhappy times to people should be charged with attempted murder, this comment regarding the recent suicide of the lady caught in the middle of the hoax over the baby of "lady Kate" & the queen. Trolling on forums can cause so much unhappiness in lives, again, these people should be found & jailed.

Hoping this act regarding Katie King was not due to trolling, maybe the career, friends, family life, maybe just an argument with a close friend, but sometimes, our own minds cannot accept the life we are living.

RIP Katie King

That idea is utterly ridiculous. How the hell would the law define "bringing unhappy times to people"? And that story about the nurse who committed suicide supposedly over the Australian radio DJs prank phone call infuriates me when they blame the radio talk show hosts who prank called her as the queen for the nurse's death. The radio hosts never should have apologized or resigned. No one can say why someone killed them self. Just because she took a phone call that potentially embarrassed her means the family can blame anyone that upset her in the days or weeks before hand? Preposterous. Everyone is responsible for their own actions and the idea of attributing causation is ludicrous.

totally agreed. the idea that we should treat everyone as such delicate fragile things is pretty silly. its hard world. sometimes you'll look like a fool, sometimes you'll look like a king but its really all up to how you allow situations to effect yourself. that nurse who killed herself obvious was some kind of nut case to kill herself over a prank phone call. she has kids for christ sake, but oh no, the embarrassment was too much. cry me a fucking river. harden the fuck up.

i agree with you totally with the first half but that nurse was on the edge her self, we can all agree that much. but they pushed her off that edge and they will have to live with that the rest of their lives. You can say that she may have done it anyway all you want but they were there to push her off the edge all the same. Humiliating people unjustly is not ok. Pranks are great, I'll do them myself, but you should know your target first, always...

marcop 12-11-2012 08:28 AM

Was she this girl: https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1090770? The thread states she was only 19... what a waste.

Lykos 12-11-2012 09:06 AM

R.I.P That's sad :(

tony286 12-11-2012 09:38 AM

My uncle took his life ,he was mentally ill. It was in the dark days when all they had was shock, lithium and they locked you up forever.

ArielRebel 12-11-2012 10:22 AM

Not to be mean and sound like a cunt here but I really don't get suicide and I think it's the cheap way out... I find this news extremely sad don't take me wrong but seriously I just don't get it... everybody have problems in life and suicide should never be an option... it's making her look weak.

anyways RIP Katie...

_Richard_ 12-11-2012 10:29 AM

+1 for you, dude.
That kind of shit takes strength to endure.
I had a roughly similar situation, but it troubled me
as a teenager.

Suicide is for pussies.

Unless you have a terminal disease, then it's justified.

Suicide is the result of a mental illness called depression

there are several treatments for that, problem is when pacient never make an appointent with a shrink

in this case friends need to lead a depressed person to the doctor

R.I.P. :(

First, you probably come from a similar family as myself, they do not mind embarrassment & are open to life, you're in the adult business. You wouldn't be saying the above if you were bought up in a foreign country where porn is disliked or your families do not ascertain embarrassment or mistakes.
Second, for a prank of this league, it was, or should have had some conviction towards this awful news of suicide.

We should all be a humane, caring for those around us. It's ok for a laugh & a joke, as we all hear from school children, although when you hear it said from 15yr children in Britain, taking film on their camera phones as their mates beat people up, just for a laugh, it doesn't remain a joke.

Bullying is bullying, joking is joking, there is no fine line between trolling, bullying, joking & messing around especially when a persons thoughts, financial situation & families are involved.

Anyone changing a persons path due to joking, trolling & having a laugh ARE a part of the after effects caused by this & should be convicted :2 cents:

People don't think of the consequences, usually the young, but sometimes adults can be ignorant not realizing the harm they can do from their actions.

Personally, that's an insult $500!!! Once an offer has been made, guilt is proven, the radio company must be liable.

@GFY & dommyb Hoping this thread can remain in thoughts for KatieKing, I was merely saying, after many were tarnishing a persons name, I wouldn't have thought it was drugs, maybe just too much of life to handle :2 cents:
