ccbill or verotel?
 

I have a pretty good cc processor at the moment, but since it is a small company, the affiliate program fails to pick up.

I am now thinking to use either ccbill or verotel for a new site. I know, both companies have a good reputation.

My customers usually come from the US and a small percentage from Japan and Korea, almost no European sign ups.

I know of a few webmasters that moved away from ccbill because they had less declines with other companies and made much more money with smaller processors. On the other hand I also know some people that went from verotel to ccbill ....

What yould you suggest?

We've been with other billing companies in the past but CCBill has been around forever and pays on time. Less declines may mean more chargebacks in the long run.

Over the past 5 years this is what we have found. Epoch are a good honest company but seem to have a very high scrub rate , CCbill also one of the first processing companys as with Epoch they have a good customer service both pay on time and we have few refunds if any with these guys. Now Ibill who are keeping a low profile are still fucking up big time. Refunds are made without reason and customer service sucks. Our rep at Ibill took off on the 22nd Dec 2003 and will not be back till the 5th Jan 2004. With Epoch i can even call Amparo to-day ( Christmas day) and she will answer her cell and talk to me , Lange was also a good guy at CCBIll lets hope his replacement is also as good.

Go with CCbill they are good people or give Epoch a try

ccbill and verotel, ccbill is our prime and verotel secondary

I know ibill sucks big time. I have some revshare accounts and their customer service is very bad. Normally they never bother to reply ....

If you plan to have an affiliate program, my suggestion would be IBILL or EPOCH... If you dont have affiliate I would go with CCbill...

I haven't had any experience with Verotel but CCBizzle has always kicked ass! Great folk, great product, snazzy limo bus!:thumbsup

if you need to be more affiliate friendly use ccbill

i see threads regularly on all the boards asking for sponsors that use ccbill. when we started our program, i got emails asking if we also used ccbill.

as far as i can tell, ccbill is the most desirable for the largest number of potential affiliates.

Verotel does not scrub anywhere near as hard as scrubbill and there chargebacks are not an issue either.

Verotel is working great for me. CCBill is getting too picky on what sites they want to work with and that's the first sign of a visa-punk who will end up shutting down.

We've used CCBill for years with no complaints. We also use ProBilling and they are damn good too.

Trust me... In the next 6 months... companies like Veretol that skirt around the Visa issues with be shut down. Visa is going ot be making some huge changes in the next 6 months and people who do not play by there rules will be gone.

I know that my company and most every other will not send traffic to sponsors that try to skirt the visa regs.

If you want a good processor... use ccbill. paycom (epoch) jettis. HEll I would use IBill before I would send traffic to a Veretol site.

Its more like friendly for you, LOL... with all that shaving & scrubbing & cookie shit, more money in your pockets for you. I am not saying that you are shaving but the option is there & I wont do business with sites like this anymore. By the way, you're site was one that I dropped from my list due that you are using CCbill.

Again... post the proof. Are you saying the thousands of programs and the thousands of affiliates tha tuse ccbill are wrong? lol dude! Sure.. off of us use them because they suck?

Hey girl, I don't need to show you anything, you know what the fuck I am talking about. I have been in the business to fuckin long & promoting 100's of programs. I would not say my traffic is the best but its ok. I convert with sites using Paycom & Ibill like 1-600 on average. CCbill 4-30 000, there is something fuckin wrong there, don't ya think so? With all that shaving options that you guys have in you're admin, why should we trust anyone using ccbill as a CCP? Its like leaving cash lying around your car & not locking the doors & come back just to find out that someone stole your money. Sorry girl but I have been in this business for a while now & always used affiliates & made a bundle of money with ccbill in the past but now it will not happen if they don't change things so affiliates could start earning again. The cookie thing is one big problem they need to solve until then Paycom will get my business.

Your drivel is meningless without back up. and should be deemed as some sort of personal vendetta agasint ccbill or one of its employees. You have none while we have hundreds of thousands of tranactions to back up our claims. I can back it up along with my over 1000 affiliates that send us traffic everyday.

So...

1. Post where the traffic is coming from and how its being sent.

2. Show us the galleries you used.

3. Show us the proof of ccbill shaving.

4. Show us the stats of 0:30,000

5. Show us what programs you were sending to.

I dont care if you have been in the business for 30 years. Not impressed. What impresses me is people that can make an accusation then back it up, not getting defensive when they are called on the carpet.

I dont mean to be harsh, but I cant stand it when people make remarks like you have without the willingness to back it up. As to the "shaving" options.. haha! There are none... you cant shave your affiliate if they get a notifcation email when any changes hav ebeen made ot the way they are paid. CCbill sends a notification email on ANY change to an affiliates payout porfolio. It would be just stupid for a sponsor to screw with or try to shave an ccbill affiliate.

I just find it interesting that I can go to my stats, (which I run independently of ccbill I might add) and watch our affiliates ratios and see NOTHNG of what you are experiencing. I also talk to otehr program owners everyday where we discuss such issues and no one has the experiences you are except for a stay affiliate with aweful traffic now and then.

Now.. we are going to our own stats program for our affiliates here in a week or so.. its all ready and we are taking care of the cookie issue that you are referring to. However, ccbill is rock solid and your claims are still unfounded. Please prove to me otherwise and I will retrack my remarks, but I dont see that happening.

Pornjudge isn't the only one having probs with scrubbill. The day I switched from them to Verotel my sales and C/R went through the roof and have not changed since. Thank god I don't get those stupid decline emails all day long....:glugglug

As more and more billers go under CCBill gets more and more popular meaning more bitching and bullshit.

The fact is nothing is more safe then using a solid third party biller.

I never shaved or screwed anyone in this business, the fact that your numbers arent good dont mean that everyone is scamming you.

I have used both at the same time and my customers chose CCBill 25 to 1 over Verotel EVEN when CCBill was on the left half of the screen.

6 months ago i saw people saying exactly the same thing.. i think people dont have a clue on how big verotel is

they just stopped giving us signups once we hooked them up after 5 days same with http://achdebit.com they stopped signups in 3 days and finally Electriccash another poor outfit.. another 7 days signups just stopped? whatz up? there dirty thats whats dead wrong!there's control shit going on.. and YUP! Ibill has the same features to shave with as CCbill does most of the revshares are on CCBILL and lean towards these Admin features we are seeing? the processors need to smarten up bigtime!.. remove the burn buttons it's hurting biz..

they don't have a clue how different european mentality is either. there is a good chance verotel will out last all of them simply because the euros aren't tripping out like american visa.

Euro dollars is inplace for a reason so the american dollar wouldn't over come there? the euro will be all over Europe in the future as a hole? I didn't agree with the idea in the beginning but I understand now.. the top sponsor's have to understand as well having 20 different doorway paysite programs owned under one
main one doesn't last? there's so many clone programs out there lately are only put online to burn/cheat/ webmasters, what a shame the online programs go this way..

I personally hit alot of dead end processors that frankly are dirty!

I signed up for some subscriptions of ccbill affiliate programs that I promote and the signups never showed up in my stats. When I consulted ccbill they said that in their records no affiliate referal could be found .... so far I thought that they have problems with netscape or macs ... but when I hear the voices in this thread I am getting scared ...

I wouldn't say that, but I would say that the game is Verotel's to lose. The have to be compliant and they also have to get a grip on some of the more extreme sites they are processing for.

I do have a site with Verotel, but I would not feel secure doing another until there is a clean up.

I run 3 tgp's sending out a shitload of hits to hosted galleries and banners and was horny to signup for sponsors using ccbill to get big checks LOL
I'm so happy when the 13 sites I promote getting a ratio from 1:9000, sorry but I won't signup for a program using ccbill anymore.

It doesn't matter if I send 100 hits throu a banner or 1000 hits from a gallery, it doesn't work for me.

Damn, with hosted galleries from nastydollars I'm about 1:500

Spam me with verotel affiliate proggies with hosted gals and I will send traffic.
