dont forget to say a few words about the pedophile in the group.

Red Ezra 03-02-2005 10:49 AM

the record comes on a dual disc - dvd on one side with the enhanced stereo version - also has a mini docu and live footage - pretty cool - the enhanced stereo sounds killer

Thankfully, I don't think he has been in the group since 1989. I think it was Scott Travis that replaced him.

The best was 1977...on their first trip to the States, Judas Priest opened a "Day on the Green" show for Led Zeppelin.

I was at a Judas Priest "Unleashed In The East" concert in Japan which they made an album of, as well as the US Festival in 1983 (put on by Steve Wozniak of Apple) - Heavy Metal Day featuring Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Triumph, Scorpions, and Van Halen.

I saw them other times as well, I just can't remember the details...(hehe).

BTW, I was also at one of the Scorpions "Tokyo Tapes" concerts. Supposedly the ticket stubs are worth quite a bit now.

Ah, the memories...

kickass
I only got to see Priest live a handful of times, but was practically raised on their music. My dad was a huge fan and at about 8 or 9 really started turning me onto them, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, etc.

Tania 03-02-2005 11:48 AM

nice pics :)

I heard one new song. It's good that they didn't try too hard to fit in with "today's" rock.

Herb Kornfield 03-02-2005 12:14 PM

Priest kicks ass.

FAR OUT!!!

I got to see them on the "Screemin' For Vengance " tour back in the 80's and it was a KICK ASS show..... I have STILL never heard a band so loud as they were.... And Rob's voice is UNMATCHED!!! He did everything live he did on the "albums" (shows my age) plus more.... and it was REAL and it was GREAT!!! :thumbsup

sickkittens 03-02-2005 12:42 PM

I just read that their old drummer sexually assaulted a handicapped 17 year old. Damn.

who gives a fuck if they're sounding "outdated"? today's music is boring as fuck...we need more bands like this that can still bring it after 30 years
I wouldn't call them outdated at all, they are timeless.....

I wanted to see them when they did a few nights in London last month but it didn't happen. They were doing the shows with The Scorpions.

I can't believe they are classified as Metal.
