Just plug it in and go to work.

We are expecting our patent application to proceed fairly quickly at this point. We have amended this application with 12 new filings on the 26th of May 2005. We will post these additional filing once they have been issued filing numbers from the US Patent administration.

We are expecting expeditious examination of our pending patent applications for the technology embodied in my2257. The parent U.S. application (U.S. Patent Application Serial No. 10/644,635) pertaining to the my2257 technology was filed on August 19, 2003 (based on a provisional U.S. patent application filed on August 20, 2002). Additional CIP applications based on the parent application were filed on May 26, 2005. Information pertaining to the parent U.S. patent application can be found by accessing the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office website at http://www.uspto.gov/ and clicking the "Status & IFW" link, or by directly visiting http://portal.uspto.gov/external/portal/pair and entering Application #10/644,635.

HMMM I wonder whos content sets it comes with.

European Lee 06-01-2005 05:36 PM

I was also unaware that the USPTO would grant patents that related to legal requirements that, as such, could hinder them being carried without the patent owners license.

But who knows, the USPTO has been funky as of late in the patents they grant.

You just had your first patent dispute filed too :winkwink:

Lee

LOL, what a fucking joke, My god anyone with some office skills can make a access database program to fucking store all the 2257 info and use the sort command to fucking show by Stage Name, Legal Name, Age, Date of Production..

Why would someone buy a program that has every content producers documents in it? Thats worthless in my opinion unless you own every set from the content producers you have in your database..

latinasojourn 06-01-2005 05:41 PM

you might sell 2 or 3.

almost no one will want to buy the hardware.

newbreed 06-01-2005 05:42 PM

Let me get in here as a matter of history...lol

riddler 06-01-2005 05:43 PM

sue the holy fucking shit out of them? Because if they need to buy a 10 thousand dollar system or even a 4 thousand dollar system to keep records then they can afford a damn good lawyer..

chadglni 06-01-2005 06:07 PM

I hope some of you program owners get together and produce a solution for everyone to use. That would take care of your affiliates and put this POS in his place all at the same time.

lmao people are really taking advantage of this shit arent they? Seriously if someone can afford to pay 500+ on some kinda bullshit 2257 keeping crap then they should be smart enough to know you can go to fucking office max and buy a spreadsheet and about 20 hours of work and have the same shit and if they cant figure that out then i guess they deserve to go fucking bankrupt..

BoyAlley 06-01-2005 06:13 PM

And of course they're filing stupid patents over it too.

I absolutely DESPISE people that try to patent stupid "technologies" like this. It's like trying to get a patent on breathing air.

Count us out as a customer.

Nathan 06-01-2005 06:14 PM

Does anyone knwo what their program actually DOES? Or is it so patented that they can't say?

I have yet to actually figure out what they DO that you pay money for monthly but still need your own SERVER to store stuff on.

Weird...

latinasojourn 06-01-2005 06:25 PM

look, i'll just put this in plain language so someone will understand.

a code writer needs to put together a nifty utility that will assembles a guys documents so he can comply with 2257 at inspection time.

this utility needs to be able to run on the webmaster's own hardware.

and it should be a one-time purchase of less than 300 usd.

and that code writer will sell about 7-10,000 units.

don't forget EVERY USA adult webmaster has to comply. don't forget who the client base is.

:2 cents:

Theo 06-01-2005 06:28 PM

latinasojourn, we do it for free and we will keep it updated for free :winkwink:
