Hey... I am a host and of course want to sell EVERYONE hosting. However, I have to say that RevShareHosting has a great value proposition and Matt is awesome. They benefit their clients by providing a solid hosting platform upon which affiliates can burn as much bandwidth without having to pay for it, except for a small percentage on the sales (as I understand it). So, for a lot of people in the marketplace this is a great solution because it takes away the financial risk from doing heavy TGP and MGP promotions :)

Thumbs up to RSH!

Brad

How about MakingCoin and CoinsCuties?

Brad, you are a class act all the way and I thank you for your kind words.

Everyone knows that Mojo Host totally rocks and is a great hosting solution for customers big and small. I like to think that we both offer fantastic solutions with our target customers having widely different needs. But even if we competed head on for each customer, I would still say there is no finer competitor than you and your company!

Man I just feel the love in this room!!! I can't wait to hang out with you again in PHX!!

You don't have to put poor Brad on the spot like that!

I will tell you up front, our fees run between 5 and 25% of each sale. Some programs you will actually get 100% of the regular payout so it does vary based on the deal we have with each program.

Feel free to hit me or Jman up on ICQ with any questions.

That's a pretty comprehensive list of sponsors already, I think you got adult pretty wrapped up. What about some mainstream sponsors like AzoogleAds or CJ.com? I know your service caters mostly to adult, but there's no reason you can't make the leap to mainstream to compete against those free hosting services like Geocities.

There's a good suggestion. :) I'd definitely go for that. How does azoogleads measure up against Adbrite? (And how long before Google jumps on the bandwagon and offers free hosting to Adsense advertisers?)

Revsharehosting is a great service. Never personally used them, but I spoke with the guys and they are very helpful.

I can not say enough good things about Revshare hosting.......It has help our business tremendously!

Matt when you came up with RevShareHosting you filled a kind of hole that existed in this industry for many new webmasters. The fact that you're also one of the best people to deal with doesn't hurt either..... :)

And that JMan isn't all that bad either ;)

Actually, you might want to check with Matt on the legalities of hitting gaming. Especially if you're planning on doing it via revshare, although there's no presendence that I'm aware of, I know hitting up revshare with gaming is a high risk area.

RSH are treating me like a queen and spoiled me beyond imagination.

And it's all Matt's fault.

Stay away from RSH, once you start hosting there, you simply can't let it go. It's addictive.

the Shemp 02-21-2006 03:34 PM

on revsharehosting....
does the webmaster get a domain or a subdomain..?
and if it is a domain, is it registered (whois) in the name of the webmaster.. ?

Heya, long time no see :winkwink:

I'll let them answer in general but some of my domains are hosted there and they are registered in my name. I mean, I just moved them there at some point.

So one can have his own domains hosted on their servers.

heya :)

i know for my purposes its inportant to have the whois info matched to the submitter, not to the host.

Hey Shemp, its good to hear from you as I haven't seen you in ages! I hope to see you in Phoenix at the Forum.

As for domains, we will do it any way the customer wants. They can use their own domains (just set it up in our nameservers) or we will provide them with a domain that we own (I have personally bought hundreds of domains for webmasters to use).

I know a lot of free hosts give out subdomains but we are NOT a free host and we don't do any of the free host type stuff. We are a paid host, with a unique billing model that is ideal for webmasters promoting adult web sites.

However, no host, free or paid, works harder or offers more tools to help webmasters be successful promoting adult programs.

Matt
