Not becoming a millionaire by age 21 :(

Rochard 03-20-2007 11:35 PM

There is really nothing I regret in life. I've had a wonderful ride and the older I get the better it seems to get.

I wish I bought a house when I was younger......

SCOOTER 03-20-2007 11:37 PM

biggest regret... probably letting myself go (as in physically and mentally). Kind of gave up for a while and just let things happen instead of acting on them. Also got fat to which i regret every day now

MrKinkade 03-20-2007 11:59 PM

bobby666 03-21-2007 12:53 AM

i married without writing a marriage contract that asurres me a daily blowjob

The Walrus 03-21-2007 01:00 AM

I would have never EVER taken that first drink in high school. I lost a decent portion of my life, not to mention a few friends, a really good woman, a shitload of cash and a father due to alcohol. I am not here to preach, we all have our flaws and vices. Just answering the question.

Bottoms up! :thumbsup

ps. Sober and proud 3 years, 3 months and a few days now. I could count down to the hour but I don't want to come across as too OCD lol :1orglaugh

dynastoned 03-21-2007 01:10 AM

i regret getting plastered last weekend and waking up infront of a friends toilet. only to find out i lost my blackberry at some fucking party the night before. :(

lol.. no really life is a journey. no matter how good or bad it gets i just roll with it. so i don't regret i just remember.

martinsc 03-21-2007 01:29 AM

i don't think about it this way... everything i have done, turned out good in one way or another... i just like being optimistic...

v4 media 03-21-2007 01:42 AM

Business,
Sitting in front of my laptop in early 96 thinking I've got $40K, Pornsites or trading oil futures, went with oil, didn't get into adult until 99.
$40K would have got me some lovely domains.

Personal, having a kid when I was 21, too young.

V_RocKs 03-21-2007 02:25 AM

A few... Waiting until I was 31 to get a life. Dating a friends sister. Dating an exgirlfriends sister. Marrying a girl I got when she cheated on her boyfriend who happened to be my best friend at the time (any guess on why we divorced?)...

Not realizing the affiliate code in the porn I was buying back in 2001....

notabook 03-21-2007 02:27 AM

Trusting whitey.

ADL Eddie 03-21-2007 03:40 AM

i don't know if things happen for a reason, but if they happen and don't work out great - a new lessons has been learned...
without failures or mistakes life would be boring....

Getting engaged........

noooze 03-21-2007 04:46 AM

hmmm

probably not going adult back in 1995 when i thought about.
Not making a dating ( seriously thinking about it ) site back before there was such a thing in this country - only see some idiot making millions 2 years after.
Not making the poker site i was thinking about, before there was any poker sites in this country..

oh well - i couldt have made a fortune, if i had the gutts to go with all my ideas.. i'm an idiot :D

Herb Kornfield 03-21-2007 05:04 AM

Not buying land in the Poconos in the 80's when it was next to nothing for TONS of land and now its all in the high 6 figs for a postage stamp of land.

Ugh ... that one always just makes me nuts.

Mr. Manson 03-21-2007 05:11 AM

The fact that I tried some of the hard drugs during my college years :error

cspdinc 03-21-2007 05:17 AM

constance summers.... My life would have been 100% diff.

That and I started shooting porn in 94 and didnt know enough about the new thing called the internet. everyone around me said video video video... so I dissmissed it as a fad for geeks... serves me right.

cspdinc 03-21-2007 05:20 AM

back in 70 I tried to talk my dad into investing in this thing called pong, and said people would pay money to play this on a pinball like machine. He said 'Naaaww, who'd be that stupid to put a dime in a machine to play for 3 minutes.'
wouldnt give me a dime... (I was real young flat broke..clueless- kinda like now. LOL)
the rest is history.

cspdinc 03-21-2007 05:25 AM

then in 96 I had the idea of selling paid subscriptionsfor airspace, like websites on the radio, to get around censorship problems and offer custom music.

I told a few folks in SD..
all said it would work but it would take zillions to launch and It died a death,
TILL XM Radio

I DO HAVE one idea yet along the XM radio Paid site design that no one else has done yet. kinda.
but with the advent of HD's in cars its just a matter of a year befoe my idea is covered by Detroit.

I had the Idea for tailights that light up in response to pressure input, so you can tell if the fellow ahead was pushing hella hard or just riding the brakes. (super for the 405)

cspdinc 03-21-2007 05:32 AM

I also have an idea for a new powerplant

It doesnt use fuel, it runs of light, electricity and magnetics... I've drawn schematics and it looks like it should work but I dont have cash for prototypes.

its a simple idea, once its "ignited" it never turns off .. never.... only needs electricity for the initial photosensor triggering to power the vaccumm vanes that begin the magnetic sequence firing.

I built cruise missles... ACM and tomahawks

TBrown 03-21-2007 05:46 AM

I could have been a lead journalist of FHM but I choose drugs instead :(
