450studio featured design entitled "unpaid"
 

A web designer and a programmer who used to be working for 450studio for one and a half month, did not get their payments. They finished a lot of projects including, 1 paysite(hdfeeds.net) along with 10 headers, front-end and back-end of the site, 10 wordpress themes, VBulletin themes, 16 galleries, a tour page(CBL springbreak), 5 banners and a poster design. This guys works like a horse even sometimes on weekends and holidays just to finish the job. After a month of work these guys are expecting their payment but they did not pay them. 450studio promised that they are going to get paid after a week because of money transfer problem. After that they still don't have their payments and decided to stop working because of the empty promises 450studio gave them regarding the payments. Now 2 months later and still they are not yet paid for their work at the same time the work that they have done are live sites and also included on their site portfolio.

Wow, that truly sucks. I believe it is more important to focus on making your employees happy before worrying about clients/customers. Happy employees make happy customers.

I have the same expirience and i know of 2 other people who have gone through the same! Asked for a refund because the design was not even close to what i ordered and they coudnt refund me. Just wait for the weekend, i know theres some hugh drama coming along.. save your popcorn, it will be fun :winkwink:

I guess thats what you get for putting trust in someone paid them like 1,5k for designs in 3 days or so, all upfront and that shit came along.. not to talk about the turnarround time. The first design came in like ordered and even pretty fast but then the bullshit started..

their design skills maybe rock but their customer support/care is the worst of the worst.. lets see how the vixeo stuff works out for them..

Is this true? because this guy(carlos) has alot of excuses..even telling the designer to stop hitting him up on ICQ because he is working hard for him to pay them. 2 months after they are not yet paid.

i still woudnt have my refund yet, but a good friend who WAS related to 450 stepped up the plate and refunded me out of his OWN pocket.. carlos still hasnt paid his debts to him.. so i will send the money back and loose out $300 for nothing. Thats no refund, thats pure SCAM! I even gave him $50 for his crappy work for nothing.. ahh fuck it.. carlos.. the name sounded gringo style from day 1

This scumbag always telling lies about the payment that he owes, He always say that some client did not pay him thats why he cant pay the designer and programmer. He also said that he needs his loan fixed for him to pay them, its been almost 3 months and these guys dont have their payments. I feel sorry for them.

o yeah jens. This money was returned to that person you called friend. But if i remember well i intrpduced you two, too each other so you could work together. made him money and you got things done by some one with skills. That is my friend ok.

This Carlos guy has pulled this scam a number of times, each time coming back with a different name.

I worked four months with him to get an affiliate program online and after all that he disappeared and reappeared a few months later with a new company name.

He's done it at least 1 other times including both of these.

Candyflip aka Jason Berardi is a known and proven scammer in design. he has stolen designs from my portfolio and resold them to clients as his own, I was contacted by people he sold designs to after they saw my work on my site. He has been doing design scam work for years from this forum. He has stolen and resold hundreds if not thousands of dollars of my work.

Being one that does some design myself..(not toons) I always hate to hear about stolen content or deisgns..its hard enough to make unique deisgns but then to have someone steal it to call their own just sucks

We are still not yet paid, we are still waiting but carlos dont even try to contact us and fix this mess. His ICQ is always offline or not available so I think he has no plans on paying us. He is a certified scammer! a cheater! earns money from other people by using them and not paying them!
