Enjoy Diet Coke? How 'bout Brain Tumors ? Testicular Attrophy ?
This is a very interesting video
http://video.google.ca/videoplay?doc...umsfield&hl=en I don't consume this stuff, and haven't for years.. but I remember having all sorts of issues with my eyes when I used to drink diet coke... Watch it, or listen to it while you work, well worth the hour and a half.. You might save your life, or your childrens. :2 cents: |
Aspartame is fucking poison
|
Sure seems to be..
Does anyone else find it highly suspicious that this product was put on the market by Rumsfield? that guys just pure evil it seems. |
the simple philosophy that makes the most sense is to avoid foods that are processed and created in test tubes and try to stick with foods that were created by nature and haven't been altered and processed
to choose to drink laboratory chemicals is insane :2 cents: |

1 month ago, I was fucking certain I had stomach, or colon cancer... I've recently switched my diet to all natural food, all meats are hormone and antibiotic free, my Juices read like so, Ingredients: Apples. Ingredients: Oranges. Nothing else, no additives at all.. pure pressed juices. That's it.. The list of changes I've made has been HUGE, right to crackers, bread everything is 100% natural or I won't eat it. I've stopped drinking tap water in switch for water that has been purified by reverse osmosis, and no longer use fluoridated tooth paste. My Sugars are RAW sugars, my fruits are grown without pesticides, they may look a little gnarly but the flavor is 10x better... I've NEVER felt so fucking good in my life.. I used to sit on the toilet and CRY like a bitch and deliver a turd the size of a marble, now I go upstairs and take a HUGE shit, without even breakin a sweat. I RUN up the stairs when I used to almost crawl.. I feel stronger each day, it's really crazy. Every day was a fight to wake up on time, and I'd often sleep my whole day away, purely exhausted.. Now I'm awake in seconds. I had every single symptom of colon and stomach cancer and now I have ZERO. People would think this would be more expensive, and at the cash register it seems that way, but the fact is, I used to need a full 16 ounce glass of juice to satisfy me, and now I drink half an 8 ounce glass and I'm good to go.. I eat one pork tenderloin instead of 2 and It's 100% better tasting and satisfying... so it's actually about the same cost. |
You know the water you drink is tainted so that means all the food you eat is tainted.

Until I can move to the farm and grow my own shit.. but even then acid rain is a factor :1orglaugh You can't fucking win... but I'm doin' the best I can to minimize the chemicals I'm ingesting.. |

Everything will eventually kill you.

If you can't pronounce the shit on the ingredients list, or it even sounds unnatural, put it back on the shelf.. as far as farmed food goes, at least it doesn't contain aspartame, but it may contain fluoride, which is a deadly poison aswell... second only to mercury. I wonder if I were to get an apple tested if there'd be trace amounts fluoride in it due to watering.. I'm thinking alot of farms are naturally watered via rain, or are far enough outside the city to be on well water which isn't usually treated with chemicals.. |

I'd rather grow old, and die naturally |
Great thread. You wouldn`t eat anything if you believed everything you read however Aspartame has been heavily critcised for years (Google it).

Keeping in mind or course that I'm purposely buying products from "fringe" hippy food stores that promise no pesticides, hormones and/or anti-otics etc .. Another interesting thing I learned recently, was that if a farmer is cloning his animals, or genetically altering your food, at this point, they aren't obligated to tell you. no form of warning or packaging label is required.. not that this is widespread or even being done yet (?) but if I'm about to eat a clone, I wanna know :2 cents: We're being fed kibble, same as our dogs :( just looks nicer. |

it is getting harder to find many grains and corns that aren't grown from genetically modified seeds, so if you buy regular cereals or breads or eat such in restaurants or burgers etc.... do a google search on monsanto gmo and then skip over the results that are the own companies spin doctoring and look at some of the issues involved in this huge topic, there is alot at stake, including the ability of a farmer to self sustain and grow from his own seeds Monsanto is also involved in many legal cases in protecting their goals to spread their gmo seed business here is a quick interesting article about a county that was fighting this scourge: http://www.organicconsumers.org/monsanto/gmo-out.cfm |
it's ridiculous when it comes to soda...
I actually really love Coca Cola and the choice is: Diet: tastes disgusting, carcinogenic/ cancer causing and pumped with chemicals OR Coke: laden with sugar and calories there's just no winning with soda :( |
I think so much intake could be harmful.

Read "In Defense of Food"
one of the most interesting points from the book that I had not previously considered is the effect of Globalism on nutrient values in food. We aren't away of every micro nutrient, we only discovered omega-3 anything in the 80s, and for a long time believed that fat, protien, and carb was all there was. We didn't know of vitamins and minerals. Today, we still don't understand food chemistry. Steak is high in iron, but if you drink coffee with your steak, you don't absord the iron. No one really knows why either. So, when we decide that Spain should grow apples, those apples and whatever nutrients they contain, used to be eaten or decayed locally, and returned to local soil. Now, that same nutrient is shipped to china, leaving the soil only the nutrients THAT WE KNOW OF to be re-introduced to the soil chemically through furtilizer. Over time, the nutrients that we don't add back, disappear entirely, and the soil becomes less rich year by year. Especially lacking whatever nutrients apples need to grow. Today's tomato contains 65% less lycopene than one grown in 1947 on the same farm... food for thought. |

Damn it, that's a serious stuff!

I do know exactly what you mean though. Switching it up a bit from processed crap to more naturalness has helped me tremendously and I don't have the same stomach aches, etc. |

Diet coke is killer!
|
Yeah I need to cut back on mine as well.
|
That's just the tip of the iceberg. Never mind the floride in the drinking water or the mercury in vaccine shots.
|
|
What a bunch of girls. Seriously, oh no, raw food! Cancer from Aspartame. Holy fuck what a joke.
|
iMind: Where do you shop?
I hit trader joes from time to time, but I am really shitty about being good about what I eat. I go in globs. I'll be into it for 6 months then fall off for 2 years. |
thanks for the link
|
Any diet soda, and most sodas, are gross as fuck... period
|
Stay away from tomatoes and potatoes? WTF?
|
Good for you for making improvements, iMind.
RO water is good. Better still would be growing your own with it. All the energy you put into your garden you get to count against the calories you take in eventually, hehe. Plus there is theories how they are healthier since they are growing in the same climate that YOU are. Take up canning as a hobby and you can over-winter easily with a decent crop. Basically turn back the clock a century on food would do the world.. a world of good, lol. |
Ive heard about this before. I used to drink about a 2 liter bottle of diet coke a day. I cant drink regular soda because the sugar sets off my acid reflux. In all honestly, it seems these days that nothing is good for you. Tap water is filled with chemicals, diet soda has aspartame, tea has bug killer in it, french fries are made by the french, etc, etc, etc.
So what are we left to do? if you spend your life being paranoid about everything you put into it, how happy is that going to make you? Im not saying go take a shower in bleach and towel yourself off in asbestos, but realize the risks of stuff. Just about everything has its good and bad parts, like prescription drugs, but in most cases the good outweighs the bad |
Good thing i'm not on a diet then.... PHEW!

it is not about being paranoid and it is not that difficult, some people just cop out and use the above as an excuse to stay with the unhealthy. And actually you are wrong when you say that "it seems these days nothing is good for you"...... things are actually getting better these days where we can go to natural food grocery stores and find huge selections of healthy items, it is easy if a person even gives a half of an effort. :2 cents: It is easy to make healthy food decisions. |
did u post a wrong link ?
cuz i get a video about psychedelic drugs |
