Been away for 3 years...where's the money ?
 

Hi,

Been away from 3 years, and now trying to come back. I was a gallery submitter making money at the time. Now...I am not sure what is happening. I setup a bunch of partner sites with TGP = no traffic, no sales. I change some of my domains to adult blog, got listed in directories and google = some traffic (150 to 300 uniques), no money. Even theHun traffic sucks big time...

What happenned ? Did the porn industry falled this much ? Does everything revolve around porn tube sites ? Where's the traffic and the buyers ?

I never tried this. I might do selling. I have 5-6 domains online since 2002-2004. Judging by the bandwith I got a fare share of traffic in them.

Those of you that are able to make "jokes" on the obvious, I am very happy for you. I hope you find your peace of mind and flatter your ego enouph...

Why not make a joke of the obvious?.....You're obviously too late....But just saying that doesn't really make me chuckle.

I know they were part of the conspiracy surrounding the online porn industry. They must be the ones sucking all the cash anyway...

I worked full time job. Didn't have the time to do the online thing anymore... I release some galleries in 07-08, but the server crash with no backups. I transfered on a payed server, stop the gallery thing. I kept my domains in checks, but that's about it. Made a bit of money during those years but very small amounts.

Yes. I am looking at it. That will depends on how they want the traffic. There are some methods I don't like, like redirection, pop ups, trojans. Will see...

Blogs work fine these days but you need plenty of them. TGP is drying because of the tubes

i saw one local gallery submitter the other day down by the weir selling a bunch of rotten cabbages out of a wheelbarrow with a flat tire, his little daughter wearing a paper bag and doing a little dance for pennies and beans. times are tough ....

Yah...I didn't know you need so much blogs tho. I have 5. Not sure I like tubes that much...each time I went on them I find so much content for so little amount of ads.

These days I am doing it to populate my blogs...My server cost me 10$ a month, so I don't panic on that side, but it would be nice seeing a return somewhere.

they're also drying because every tgp is 50% or more blind links. tgp owners cant make money with actual galleries so they sell or trade the links.

an honest/no blinds tgp can still make some money if you have loyal traffic.

but the real money these days is still in paysites. always will be.

My 2 TGPs are set 20-30% blind skim, but all the galleries are mine anyway. I understand your point. At least the tubes let you see something...

Id rather have 1 good blog that works then 1000 that don't.

Everyone thinks they need lots, and that's exactly whats stopping them from building a real site that makes money.

I agree with you on this. There are tons of blogs that looks and feels like nothing...I prefer one that is well done, easy to look at.
