I loved this movie but I wanted to see what other people got from it. It deals with reality and dreams with a very fresh perspective. Psychological phenomena like false memories and the introspection illusions are things that forever linger in our mind's subconscious. Anything is possible the dream state it is "pure creation". Also think about how monumental and infectious ideas are, look at Facebook, Twitter or other ideas that spread wildly. How much persuasion, influence can we have? After all these are all the things that good marketers do isn't?

If you wanted to plant and Idea in someone what would it be? Most importantly to whom?

Inception is a GREAT movie... it's Chris Nolan's best movie (better than Dark Knight, sorry Batfans). It's deep, multi-layered, and a true thinking-man's science fiction movie.

Loved it.

the idea of planting an idea within the dream realm is very interesting although people do this to other people(persons) in a waking state all the time, and they do it sufficiently to make major changes in the course of events.

Watched the bd a few days ago, was really surprised. I couldn't remember that it was that good. Was a little bit disappointed when I saw the first time in the cinema. Guess there were too many dreams in dream in a dream :). Quality of the BD was pretty good, too.

i just picked it up. was hoping to find the directors cut but that probably wont be out for a while

i thought it was retarded and they tried to make the movie real complex, witty and smart but it was a big fail...

a dream within a dream within a dream and hack the dream outside the dream and then you can dream up anything

So I've watched this a few times and read that you have to LISTEN to the ending if you want to know if he is still dreaming or not.

When the movie starts, his kids are playing IN THE SAND.

At the end when he sees them, they are playing IN THE GRASS.

He asks them what they are doing, they quietly reply: "WE'RE BUILDING SAND CASTLES"

But they are not in sand, they are in grass, and wearing the same clothes as in his dreams.

Then the movie cuts off.

They are making a equal. Watch it anyway, it's bad ass. You may find something I didn't to lead to the fact that he is awake.

All I can say is that "Inception" is a great cinematic experience... enjoy.

You should watch Shutter Island & Blood Diamond (Body of Lies is also quite good), he's become a good actor. Much better than the one with the sinking ship. :winkwink:

most overrated 2010 movie

How can you not like that movie? It was very entertaining, which is the point of movies.

Unlike the latest Narnia that I saw last night. Ugh. They struggled to put this one together.

right on, i hear ya. i just can't figure out why he and damon get all these sweet roles. hollywood needs to spread it around.

watched it last night and loved it. i need to watch it again just to make sense of some of the concepts i was trying to wrap my head around. it's one of those that you get even more out of second time around i think.

I saw it had the highest sci-fi ranking at imdb but after watching it I was disappointed. Good movie but not the greatest.

I loved that movie in theaters, can't wait to grab the DVD :thumbsup

convoluted mess of a movie. Id heard so much but I was disappointed. Some good effects tho

I bought the DVD and decided to get high before watching it cus I thought it would really blow my mind if I was high. I ended up turning it off within 10 minutes because I couldn't follow it. I'll probably watch it this weekend. Sober.

maybe ill try watching again and this time ill use all my limited mental abilities to keep up.
