Don't cover the lens with your fingers. The lens is the round glass thing on front of the camera. If you're still not sure look it up in the manual.

Really though, stop it with the ellipsis (...) they just make you look stupid. :2 cents:

Having your finger in the picture is a very basic mistake. What makes it even more alarming is its in every picture. You have the ability to check every picture you take on the spot and that would make this simple mistake noticeable and easily corrected.

If you didn't check your pictures as you were taking them and only noticed it on the computer you should have taken a little bit of time and cropped out the finger to make the picture better and hide your mistake.

If that's you in your avatar you can see how your finger may pop in front of the lens by the way you hold the camera. A much better way to hold it is to use your index finger on top and thumb on the bottom and " pinch " the camera. Use your other hand to hold it steady when you use your index finger to press the shutter button.

There is no good excuse for having your finger in every picture and its as bad a mistake as having the lens cap on used to be. He asked a simple question. Until you know better you should be more gracious.

WTF does it matter if there's a finger in the pics? She/he's not selling them.

I hear Nikon is developing a feature for their new cameras that actually puts a finger in the picture for you.

MaDalton is right, keep your fingers in the right place when holding a camera or you end up with grit, scratches of smears on the lens... so for good reason not just to have a clear photo :2 cents:

It was mainly a rain event here for us with maybe strong gusts of wind every now and then ... That being said, I feel the advanced forecasting completely scared everyone half to death ...

was it really that bad? i mean theres a lot of hype about nothing imo. i think more kids died swimming in canals in cali this week than people that died from irene.
