Seriously CCBILL WTF

Fix your FUCKING system so your clients can check their stats. Is that too much to ask?

Its been a FUCKING MONTH and you've done nothing. Click, click, click and 10 mins later the stats finally show up.

With all this fucking money you're making hire some REAL FUCKING programmers and FIX your 1990s based, bug infested system.

For FUCK sake

porno jew 03-27-2012 09:37 AM

you mad?

LouiseLloyd 03-27-2012 09:39 AM

It LOOKS really cool, though. Sometimes I think there's an inverse correlation between how cool software looks and how well it works.

Is it too much to ask? Really? They are letting you process transactions. They are enabling your business. They are providing you with tools, people, advice and support to help you make money.

We have been using CCBill forever and are very happy with their system. Generating reports can take a few seconds sometimes but considering all the queries to all the tables of all the databases it probably has to make to provide Real Time data, there's nothing at all to complain about. And any time we had a problem. CCBill provided INSTANT support.

Maybe you should send an email to your CCBill rep, and politely ask him if CCBill's speed will improve in the near future. Your CCBill rep went out of his way to get you setup, and if the higher-ups at CCBill saw this post, they just might ask him why he stuck his neck out for you.

Not cool.

SwirlsGirl 03-27-2012 09:51 AM

We tried Sliiing out and are so glad we did....instant loading stats are a revolutionary and bold new concept for displaying stats :)

dude, srsly...

there are good peeps at CCBill and they know i like them - but still i would never praise their backend...

AllAboutCams 03-27-2012 09:59 AM

Question of the Day: How many times do you push the "LOOKUP" button until your ccbill stats appear?

So true :2 cents:

Blackcrow 03-27-2012 10:35 AM

My advice is to call CCBill so they can tracert your IP. Also, run short reports; CCBill should not allow those 2,3,4 year span reports because they will never compile. I use ccbill stats daily and they flat out work. 3rd party stats are huge pain in the ass, cost a lot of money, and do you really want to share your numbers and stats with someone else in the business? Not a good idea at all... Here is what you need to know hits:cash

signupdamnit 03-27-2012 11:03 AM

My stats almost always work fine. There is a 10 to 60 second delay when doing a lookup but it isn't a big deal. Keep in mind how much data those databases are holding. They have millions of sites, urls, transactions, and webmasters going back over a decade. Sales on the other hand are what I am most concerned with.

Hey Signupdamnit, are your sales for today up or down compared to yesterday?

All I'm saying is that CCBill's system is obivously complex, and have no complaints at all about speed. Sure I wish it were as fast as Google, but come on. So what if it takes a few SECONDS to generate a report? People need to chill.

BareBacked 03-27-2012 11:25 AM

5-8 times, and sometimes requires a refresh a couple times too:( :Oh crap :helpme

Bladewire 03-27-2012 11:35 AM

Every morning I log on CCBill and open three windows for my daily reports. I input the parameters on one window for one report and click view report. I follow that process on the next two windows. I then go back to window one and my data is there! Same in windows two and three. I then enter the numbers into my Excel docs and check out my charts. Problem solved.

I never considered posting on boards and capitalizing curse words to my third party payment processor.

LeRoy 03-27-2012 11:38 AM

Just asked our billing guy about this.

He's hasnt had any issues. Sales are up too.

FTW!

It's still too early to tell for me. :) Yesterday ended up being good after all.

2012 03-27-2012 12:32 PM

i concur

Fat Panda 03-30-2012 05:13 PM

I still need to click the 'lookup' button 20 times to get stats to load. #annoying

Couchbase, RTDW, XML feeds, datalink that allows more than 1 request an hour, API endpoints, export data on insertion, event queues, multi-platform delivery, IoS/mobile friendly front ends, analysis options on tracking, pass through parametrics, even some form of rudimentary caching, automated data export, menu system that makes sense, easy configuration of access control for administrators, graphical display of selected data, support that doesnt want your passport number every time you call them, sensible form creation options and ability to easily display non-US currencies and a cascade flow system that makes sense.
Hmmm, nope none of those but a nice fat double digit comission charge :)

anexsia 03-30-2012 06:18 PM

I had hardly any sales with CCBill in the beginning of the month and then all of a sudden I'm getting loads of them all at once, always seems like that happens with them.

But yeah their backend is a pain in the ass!

yes, i'm also curious to know the explanation of this.

Not cool.

He's not referring to load times, he's referring to blank screen after blank screen when trying to view reports, we all know generating year on year reports takes time - totally acceptable, the sheer volume of available reports is also a great thing. But blank screens? being told to use IE over google chrome which is not exactly a new to the market browser - not too much to ask. They make millions... at least make it compatible with modern browsers.. thats all.

I tried to add a new account, pricing etc, a 10 minute job took well over an hour because pages wouldn't load, euro prices entered in as dollar, setting the affiliate payout to 50 in the field value wouldn't take because it wasn't numeric even though it was 50... these problems, although tedious, are a massive pain in the ass day to day, and there's no excuse for not fixing them.

CCBill have many great qualities, and we too have been with them for years and years. But it would be nice if they'd listen to customers once in a while, feels like we are ignored.

lucas131 04-08-2012 03:43 PM

I have no idea if this is true, but it was said on another board by a very well respected person in the industry that they actually shut off billing at given times to keep their CBs in balance, as they have a bank to answer to and have to manager their CBs to them just as we do to CCbill.

That would explain the rush of sales after hours of nothing. Seems to be a trend for everyone who uses them. However, my test sales always go through. So who knows?

AllAboutCams 04-08-2012 09:31 PM

i have been finding it better using Firefox than chrome

bns666 04-09-2012 07:41 AM

check your traffic, it definitely sounds like the traffic responsible for that...if not check your content...sometimes having fresh content can cause rebill errors

That really makes no sense at all in regards to what his problem was.
