Fact - Aliens have visited earth - myths debunked.

Aliens have visited this planet.

And I can prove it Sherlock Homes style.
'Eliminate all other factors, and the one which remains must be the truth.'

The first objection i get is distance and nothing can travel faster than light. Bullshit, warp speed is possible - http://www.popsci.com/technology/art...03/warp-factor

as well as instant communication via vast distances with what Einstein refers to as 'spooky action at a distance' ie Quantum entanglement http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_entanglement

so you got any other reasons why aliens havn't already been here to our planet at some time in the last few million years?

that fucker is the greatest problem to actual ancient alien research. Everything's fucking built by an alien to him, and everything is based on less than 10,000 years ago. I'm talking go back a couple million years and we've seen contact. Evidence would be hard to find, But I'm betting it exists if we can figure out where to look

boring...

Where is the debunking part you fucking imbecile? And where is your proof.
Let me guess, this is the start of you turning into a conspiracy nutter. Knowing how incredibly low your iq is this won't come as a surprise to anybody here.

All I will say is if you believe humans are the most intelligent lifeform in all galaxies then you have one BIG fucking ego.

I know he trolls a lot but i'm pretty sure he is being serious here.
It for sure is right at his level of "thinking" and understanding things.

One thing that is hard to explain are ancient gold mines....scientific evidence puts the mines to be about 150,000 years old...and supposedly we werent capable of fuck all back then.

Who knows we may have had several civilizations rise and fall in that time period. Get to the Roman level or something similar. Most structures would erode into rust after 50k years. So it is really hard to know.

Yeah, but the stupidity in people to blow out the idea of aliens in general is fucking retarded as well. But yeah, he's a giant heretic.

Mutt 03-24-2013 05:52 AM

I'm sure there is intelligent life somewhere out there, as intelligent or more intelligent than us? Who knows..... nobody knows. One thing we do know is that this planet we're stranded on is less than a head of a pin in the vast cosmos, so there may be super smart beings out there but the odds of them taking interest in us is remote.

There's no proof aliens have visited earth, there's no evidence there are aliens ...... we're a pretty dumb species, just because we really don't know much doesn't mean there aren't fantastic things beyond our grasp of knowledge yet.

why? I'm not saying I dismiss any and all probability of *some* kind of other life form(s), but why is it an ego thing for anyone to believe that humans are the most advanced physical lifeform (after all, 1 lifeform has to be)? So, why would it mean someone has a big ego?

I assume we all know that the mathematical odds on each of the billions upon billions upon billions of occurences, needed to get to the point of where we are today is almost as incomprehensible as imagining the size of the universe.

How it's anything at all to do with having a big ego if you don't believe in lifeforms more advanced than us is beyond me.

finally someone "Gets it"
we were made in "his" likeness ( As the bible says) which I think is a hint that Aliens made us genetically enhanced with their DNA mixed with primate..humans did not come through evolution

pretty sure thats not exactly the point dynamo was making there and ummm the bible... wtf

dyna mo 03-24-2013 07:24 AM

ftr, my post had nothing to do with evolution. it had to do with the fundamental building blocks of life.

I disagree. Look at our interest in other "intelligent" life forms. It would be a natural curiosity.

But the way I see it is this...

Other intelligent life forms have visited our planet and seen the lineups in the McDonalds drive thru, the reality TV shows we watch and the American political battles and said to themselves, "Nope, no intelligent life forms here", and went looking elsewhere.

thats a fair point, I guess most people assume it based on the size of the universe but yeah the evidence just isnt in yet.

even the famous drake equation doesn't really count for much for much and is next to pointless as it is just a guess based on a guess based on more guesses.

not near enough data to make any sensible calculation really. Probably as reasonable to suggest we are number 1 as to say we are nothing at all. idk

we only need a second data point! as soon as life on mars is confirmed, or not...........

Or perhaps an even better chance when we are able to punch a hole through the ice sheet of Europa and take a peek :) now that would be cool.

Did you actually read the entire article?

There was no conclusive proof contained in the article that warp speed is possible. It's still merely theoretical experimentation. When pressed on the specifics, Harold White says, "I'm not at liberty to discuss that." Which I translate to mean, "I don't actually have the answers, but if I say that...they'll cut off my funding and take away my toys."

Europa is considered by many scientists to be one of the best bets for life in the solar system as they are almost certain there is a vast liquid water ocean covered by a thin sheet of ice. evidence of internal heating and geological activity caused by the elongated orbit of jupiter which continually stretches and compresses the moon creating a friction and heating within. Also the cracks on the surface of the ice look the same as on earth where liquid water has risen to the surface and then frozen over.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...uropa-moon.jpg

The hope is to find life created around geothermal vents in the ocean much like deep sea life at the bottom of the earths oceans that survives without the need for the sun.

dyna mo 03-24-2013 09:40 AM

thx for that Xholly, that article at space you linked was a good read, i had no idea about all of that, wow.

that video is out of this world! wait, that's what it's supposed to be. a space rocket/submarine, impressive.

xholly 03-24-2013 09:49 AM

youre welcome mate, think it's still a long way off though but definitely something id love to see. :thumbsup

This thread alone should be enough to prove we aren't the most intelligent lifeform. Does "You have a big fucking ego if you believe humans are the 'only' intelligent lifeform in all galaxies" work for ya?

TheFootMan5 03-24-2013 11:00 AM

Of course aliens exist

Where do you think the human species came from?

TheFootMan5 03-24-2013 11:01 AM

Humans are arrogant, ignorant species who think the entire universe was created for them :1orglaugh:1orglaugh and who laugh at other humans who point out that there's probably millions of life forms out there

Stupidity knows no bounds

So this is the offspring of a species so intelligent that it has mastered intergalactic travel?

It is a mathematical certainty that there is alien life, doesnt mean they have visited us. There is nothing unique about our planet that they would travel the distances to come here when there are probably billions of other earth like planets along the way.

dyna mo 03-24-2013 11:32 AM

unless we break the speed of light, according to some scientists, we will never be able to communicate to/from other galaxies, everything is moving away from everything too fast, as i understand it.
