Father of 6 Breaks Up Street Fight Then NYPD Murder Him Using Death Choke

NYPD Kill Man by Placing him in Chokehold and Slamming Face to Sidewalk

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=8ae_1405660548

"New York City police officers killed a man Thursday after he had broken up a fight between two other men, insisting on placing him in a chokehold and slamming his head to the pavement, piling on top of him as he gasped for air, continually telling the cops that he couldn't breathe.

The entire incident was caught on video from a witness who kept telling the cops that the man had not committed a crime.

But evidently, the cops suspected him of selling untaxed cigarettes, which apparently is a very serious crime in New York City."

_Richard_ 07-18-2014 03:14 PM

you cut off the part where he is dead, yet the cops are still wrestling

brassmonkey 07-18-2014 03:48 PM

they have cops that target and kill people.

sicone 07-18-2014 04:03 PM

That will teach him for doing the right thing...

myleene 07-18-2014 04:07 PM

That's so disgusting.

He did nothing wrong.

PornDiscounts-V 07-18-2014 04:24 PM

Well... if he did nothing wrong why resist them?

Tom_PM 07-18-2014 04:36 PM

The defenders and apologists will be here in a jiffy. Fact will remain that there he was, standing and saying leave me alone, cops jumped on him, now he's dead.

What was there reason for wanting to arrest him to begin with? Should he have just laid down and let them do as they please, violating his rights?

Uh... the guy is dead. What do you think?

Whether something is right or wrong, I usually go with the decision that gives me the better odds of staying alive. But hey, that's just me. I happen to like breathing.

Gang banger has a gun to your head. You going to start arguing with him about your rights? Please.

Cops = same threat as a "gang banger"?
I'm not of the opinion that we SHOULD be scared that cops will kill us is we don't obey them like we are dogs.

The cops are supposed to work for us. But like every other facet of govt., they are ruling over us instead.

Well, someone posted earlier that the apologist would show up.
So here you are.

Well, I think the cops, the gang in blue that is supposed to protect and serve him and respect his rights, abused the power they think they have over citizens and went way to far over what was a non issue. If anything they should be thanking this man for doing the job they weren't able to do. You know, stopping the fight in front of his place.

I do agree, it's best to take the choice that gives the best odds of staying alive, but maybe you should watch the video again, there was no resisting, there was no choice. The cop who jumped on him from behind and started choking him decided he was judge, jury and executioner, taking away his choice and his life in under a minute. And with a choke hold that has been banned for use by the police force.

Did the words, I cant breathe threaten that cops life or the lives of anyone else around?

Do you not know the difference between a officer of the law and a street thug? I'm sure you do, so I'm sure you already realize how lame of a comparison that was.

Now, repeat the words I cant breathe 6 times, and that was all the time it took for that cop to kill a man who was not resisting, who was on the ground with several other cops pinning him down.

Cops should be charged with murder. They'll get 3 weeks paid time off and be found innocent of all wrongdoing.

RandyRandy 07-18-2014 07:46 PM

The problem is, this happened in Staten Island. More NYPD and FDNY live in Staten Island than any other boro. So when it goes to trial - and it will go to trial, the cop won't plead out because the guy died from a heart attack - it'll be a hung jury. You'll have a couple of Blacks on the jury and at least 1-2 jurors who are close to someone in the NYPD. This could be the one to start some riots.

Yes, yes - lots of speculation on my part, but bookmark this and let's see where we're at in about 18 months.

Bill Maher just finished his show with a rant about how the police forces are not only getting military equipment, but also the mentality of an occupying military force. Police have forgotten that "protect and serve" means to protect us, not themselves.

Quite frankly...I think most people are scared to death to have the police "protect" them.

The scariest thing I see when I'm driving is when a cop gets behind me. They are unpredictable and abusive if they pull you over.

Whenever I get into a discussion about cops abusing their power I always hear: "Yeah, until you NEED one".

Well...how many times are cops ever there when you actually NEED them? That is impossible of course. They would have to be mind readers and get to the scene of the crime BEFORE it happens so they could stop it.

No, what cops do in the vast majority of cases is show up AFTER it's all over and then take a report and try to arrest someone. I'm not saying that's a bad thing...just saying that "serve and protect" is kind of a falsehood because they can't protect you...and they damn sure don't "serve" the people.

I can honestly say I've never had a cop "protect" me in my life in any of the cities I've lived in. And the couple of times I had things stolen and "needed" them, they were unable to help me (not their fault, it's a big world and retrieving stolen property is mostly pure luck).

The one thing they seem to do real well is hand out speeding tickets to soccer moms to make money for the local govt. and the insurance companies.

Your logic would on the face appear sound, but..... Try using this logic of "I usually go with the decision that gives me the better odds of staying alive." in the shower in prison. You will be totally alive and butt raped every day. But hey you'll be alive!!! No sense in risking death to save such things as honor etc........

When seconds count.... don't worry the police are only minutes away!!! POLICE DON'T PROTECT SHIT!!!!!
They are the ones I am most scared of, and I ain't doing nothing much wrong these days either. I just don't think that I should have to take the verbal abuse they inevitably spew at me when they talk to me like I am a lesser person.

venus 07-18-2014 11:21 PM

the fact is, as you stated he said leave me alone as they attempted top cuff him....tell any cop to leave you alone and push them when they try to cuff you and see what happens...if he had learned from other people getting their ass kicked by the police he would still be alive...you cant fight the cops and then cry because you get hurt or killed...the police are not paid to lose.

this guy should not have been mad at the cops...he should be mad at who ever sold him all those cheeseburgers...

MiamiBoyz 07-18-2014 11:27 PM

Police are psychopaths with Jesus complexes and small cocks.

Most of them would be better suited working at toll booths but counting the change would prove too difficult for the vast majority of them.

The good thing is about threads like these is the cunts come out and I add to the list another program I won't ever work with.

That there was murder, those cops should be charged and convicted of murder until the needle is in their arm. Total shit.

I spent 11 years in my day job working closely with cops (IT training). After all that time, I have to honestly say that most of them are insecure assholes who have no business being in that type of job.

Interestingly enough, I have had several detectives tell me the same thing. They said the problem with the rank and file is that they tend to be arrogant, combative assholes.

I would never resist and would be fully compliant with what I'm told to do, but if I was put into a choke hold, or punched in head and slammed to the ground; that instant, I would fight back. Right or wrong, I would way fight back. I think thats most peoples instinct when attacked by anybody.

And to make things worse, I can defend the choke and defend myself very well. Well enough that I would probably get shot.

But like I stated above, I would way listen to instructions given to my by any officers.
