Someone please stop the crazy white people. In yet another example of racist appery, the white entrepreneurs above just made another app to help white folks ensure they never end up in a place where there are?well?non-white folks.

SketchFactor, helps users avoid ?sketchy? neighborhoods, and by ?sketchy? they mean ?poor and non-white?. Yet, far from being condemned as racists by the tech community, grinning Caucasian c0-founders, Allison McGuire and Daniel Herrington are finalists in a $20,000 startup contest!

The pair must have heard it on the grapevine (see what I did there?) that some disquiet about their app exists, because they headed it off at the pass on their blog. While inviting their fellow white people to share ?sketchy? stories about strangers they spot (translation: warn white folks there are black folks about) ? they remind us all that the purpose is not, repeat, not racist:

Who we?re not: racists, bigots, sexists. Any discriminatory posts will be deleted.

So, don?t say black, say ?ghetto? or ?urban? ? and you?re all good.

But this isn?t even the first app on the market to perform this black-dodging. Back in September 2013, Gawker reported on another app titled ?GhettoTracker? ? like SketchFactor, the images representing users and good areas were white, the bad, Black and Latino.

The folks in those certain nameless particular 'hoods obviously don't like it when whitey takes a wrong turn down their street, or anyone who isn't THEM for that matter. They more than anyone should appreciate an app like this that prevents that bothersome intrusion by annoying other-ethnicities on their 'turf'.

Well the fact is that in many ways there's actually 2 separate and distinct nations co-existing within the United States. One is a financially wealthy United States and the other is a poor 3rd world United States. In some areas of the USA someone can literally walk from a neighborhood of multimillion dollar mansions and in 20 minutes be in a slum that resembles one in Calcutta India.

In no other country in this world can anyone find such extremes. Unfortunately in the good old USA the color of someone's skin can be a huge factor in determining which neighborhood they're likely to born and raised in.

Sadly this enormous disparity between the 2 faces of the United States illustrates one of the core principles of National Socialism and why it pushes for segregation.

So If anyone ever wants to get your socks blown off then I suggest they do some research about Henry Ford (as in Ford Motor Company) and Nazism. When I traveled to Ukraine some years ago I was informed to avoid the Police late nights or they would rob me.
When I was in USA I should avoid going downtown late evenings, in New Orleans it was dangerous to not stay on Burboun Street.
In Thailand I was told to not go downtown late at night.
Here in Sweden its not safe in the suburbs of Stockholm late nights.
Some countries we are told to not visit at all (the middle east)

In the United States we have the majority of people living very comfortably in the "middle" of your two extremes.

You need to test your "no other country in this world" theory. Go down to Mexico. Go to Jamaica. Go to Peru. I've spent a bit of time at those three countries. And they totally prove your statement wrong.

I've never been to Asia...but from what I have seen and read, the nations there also prove that there are LOTS of countries with no middle class at all.

In most places in the world a person in "poverty" doesn't own a car, a cellphone, and have cable t.v. in their apartment.
