When did that happen? I might be up that way in the spring!

Good luck with the company, doing the same thing myself. Waiting for the last thing to complete, then we can launch. This is going to shock a few people. Also, taking over TheAdultSpot.com, adult social network.

Awesome! I moved to CA in August of last year. I am in CT and NYC right now, visiting family as well as meeting with Mozilla and AngelPad. Heading to FL to visit friends, then I'll be back in Cali early January.

How long did it take you guys to raise funding? I think it happened pretty quickly for us, all things considered -- but then again, the market we're addressing is one with a large pain, and the technical solution is quite elegant. :thumbsup

No reputable company I know of pays in barrels of oil. Bitcoin payments are common in Silicon Valley, and there are ATM machines all through the valley that convert Bitcoins to cash, and vice versa ... but I wouldn't expect you to be aware of trends. You're the guy sitting on the sidelines not making money. :)

Anyone else fucking detest reading résumés? They are usually so fluffed up. I have to hire people from time to time and I fucking hate it when people email me their résumé even though I do not ask for it. I got a good job one time because I called the business owner and told him I thought résumés were BS and if he wanted someone who produce results that he should give me a shot. It worked. I also refuse to use business cards. They are bullshit. People take your card then then blank you out of their memory but if they ask for your card and you tell them "I refuse to use business cards" they remember you. Then you exchange contact info and enter it into your phone right on the spot which is much more effective.

I'm the VP of affiliate marketing, the owner has been working in stocks and trading for some time and has been getting funding for the start up. The whole thing confuses me. Good thing for me that he doesn't understand affiliate marketing.

I can't wait for the full launch, I've set up affiliate software that I have never used before and had to learn a lot, which I love doing.

I come up to northern cali about twice a year thru Sacramento towards Redding ca where my family lives. Next ride up there, I'll do a detour and visit you!

Indeed, since I am an idiot I do not have enough brain to succeed in business.
And appreciate being suggested that I may be a thief.

Went with Post Affiliate network. They had the option of buying it outright, I like owning the scripts. Pretty awesome stuff, both of them

Hmm, never heard of that. Generally, there's OfferIt (NATS), HasOffers, and CAKE. All the others don't usually hit my radar.

He's implying that YESsignals (remember that irrelevant idiot Sleazy and his lame site?) was getting a successor. I found it pretty amusing, personally. :1orglaugh

I don't remember that, but I hardly think that applies. We are launched , but just selling vape products so far at a 25% commission. The big thing that will put us on the map is coming soon.

Is this Adult or mainstream?
How does one get funding for an Adult project?
Perhaps we should talk as my tube site idea is gold waiting to be cashed in (well, bitcoins waiting...).
I am in NYC. :)

Serious inquiry.

Not in the bayarea. That is like lower middle class wage.

Middle Class in San Francisco is 85K - 150K a year.

Point is that to make that point you absolutely did not need to add stealing into the sentence. Point would have been exactly the same without it.
You have been schooled yesterday, schooled today once again. :thumbsup

"An individual employed by a business to manage the activities of subordinate salespeople, and to develop and implement an effective selling strategy for the business in general. The sales director typically has full control over the sales function and staff within the budget allocated by a business and is often part of its higher management."

So.... I would get to be an asshole to the ones not pulling their weight, all the while praising the ones that have the gift. And, get to pee in a private restroom on your dime???? Within budget of course......
Fuck I Am In! Bitcoin will be fine,...Thank you.

Oh, I have plenty of life experience for this position. I currently run and operate, 3 kids, a wife, paid for house from a small start up business that has just profited xx,xxx this year. All of which with 4 full time employees.(legal I might add)

Hitting you up now ;)
Would love to work under someone with your reach, Truth, I like your approach at most things I have read :2 cents:
Good luck in the hunt for the right candidate!

I have exactly same opinion about it.I find resumes policy retarded as they dont really show do you have skills or not.Of course, they are anyway used as "first step" of filtering, but you might losing someone good just because he does not having a real job experience. And also you could get a dead beat who have tons of experience but in reality dont do shit just because he think how his resume is enough.
And yes i use same approach with refusing bussiness cards but people spam me with it anyway. But one way or another if i tend to bussiness with someone i will contact them instead waiting for them to contact me.

GFY: Not having a clue about the real world since 2001, right? :1orglaugh

In any event, it costs me $12k/mo in the Bay Area, and I am not in San Francisco proper. I work out of the Plug and Play building (where PayPal and Dropbox started), because our investors are there. Hit me up of you want to drop by sometime after the holidays.
