What's so special about that? You have never needed a background check to buy an assault rifle. The only wait time at all is for handguns and of course special permit needed for a full auto..
No need to build one, you can buy one any day of the week face to face.. |

I don't believe you do anything you say do. Post photos or shut the fuck up.

In between the busy times of working for Paypal you know there's always time to build your own AK 47...
Now, where is that picture, of the guy, his M16, the flag and the burning KFC bucket??? |

Our army has enough assault rifles, no need to make one. Actually some hundred thousand was just recently destroyed out of the way (although that seemed quite pointless).

A perfect way for a dickhead felon to spends his day

I made an AMD-65 a long time ago. I used an 80% receiver where I had to drill the holes and install the lower rails. Now you can get one with the rails already installed.
80% AK47 Receiver Blank - Henderson Defense Industries I took it apart and built it again with a tapco flat. Just to see if I could do it. The best way to bend a flat is to get a press and a jig. I made a jig out of a block of wood and bent it with a hammer and another block of wood. Both times I drilled and tapped, then screwed the receiver to the trunions. I also screwed the lower rails into place. Rivits would have looked better as well as spot welding the lower rails into place. I heat treated the rails and holes with a MAPP torch. It was ugly, But it worked. I took it apart and sold the pieces to somebody that did a better job. Best way is to go to a build party. Where people have all the tools. BTW: There is a response video showing where the guy in the original video committed 3 felonies during his build and disposal. Here is the response video |

GFY Safety Alert - Concerning User Brassmonkey
He's claimed to be from Compton California
He's claimed to be a member of the violent street gang called the Crips He's alluded to being a convicted felon He frequently makes veiled threats to others on this forum (ex yesterday: "accidents happen dogg!") He's claimed he works for PayPal Now he is trying to purchase and assemble an unregistered and untraceable assault rifle specifically stating that his attraction to it is there are no "numbers"... i.e. serial numbers. i want to build one! no numbers! If you see this man, please avoid him as he's clearly mentally unstable, likely armed, a fucking sniveling hypocrite, a compulsive liar and a whiny little bitch... oh, and apparently a grandfather in spite of acting like a 16 year old (congrats bro!) |

As far as private party purchases. Anything that is shipped must go to FFL dealer, where upon the FBI check is then done before you can take possession of the firearm If you are talking about private party sales, then no nothing is needed. However, if you go to armslist where most local private party sales occur, you will see the majority of listings on that site are local dealers and pawn shops. All of which will require the FBI check so they do not lose their FFL. Most of the other guys that move guns on there that sell private, including myself require a valid permit to purchase or permit to carry. Either of these cards indicate that you have passed the FBI background check and the local sheriff has signed off on it. While there are back alley deals and rare instances where this can be bypassed, it is not nearly as common or easy as you think. |
"assault rifle" does not imply "full auto"... not legally and not by anyone. Besides, you can't "imply full auto"... either it is and you must have a class 3 dealers license or it isn't.
