Yeah i know what you mean dyna. I have a thing at the bottom of my desktop telling me i can register so that it downloads automatically on the day of release but im gonna hold of till i see or try it. Windows 8 sucked donkey balls but i actually like the look of 10

Sometime over night last night, an icon appeared on my taskbar saying "Get Windows 10".
I might click it someday after waiting to see what happens to millions of others who clicked it first.

Waiting for cry babies to come out to tell everyone how win10 will suck and they will stick with windows xp lol

good rule of thumbs when it comes to windows is to upgrade every other version.... so this one should be good...

It will be good.. Microsoft has a proven track record of every other OS being good. 7 was good, 8 sucked ass.. Unless of course 9 was supposed to be the good one and now 10 will be shit...

I have the icon on my tray that I cant get rid of . so yeah I know about it as well.

I've been using the Windows 10 beta for awhile and I LOVE IT!

I actually know someone who is still using XP, and someone else who is still using Vista. Yikes.

I viewed some screenshots, it looks like shit and I can't get rid of this fucking upgrade icon next to the system clock...

Well, it's not like Windows 8 doesn't suck monkey shit. I'm just fine with my Windows 7.

There was more probably free working software in 98 and xp so the newer the os the less free software.

How long does it take to upgrade?

I'm going to upgrade my win8 machines, but everything on 7 is going to stay on 7.

Does it make sense to upgrade from Vista?

The upgrade is only free for 7 and 8 users I think. If i had vista i would be upgrading to something different though.

You guys can run Windows 10 beta for free right now. Try it in a vm if you don't want to risk your system. Windows 10 is great. You'd be crazy to not upgrade.

Crap. Yeah, i just turned on my old laptop that runs vista - no cookies for me.

If you're OK with inferior operating systems then great. I know change is scary for non-technical people but give it a try.

I dunno if it is just a rumor and I forget where I heard it, but I seem to recall hearing Microsoft was gonna charge a yearly fee for Windows 10 if you want updates.

Why? I couldn't afford win 10 so I bought win 7 to get it free... Yep FREE!

Now all I need to do is wipe my shitty mac and I can use it :thumbsup
