So much drama over this email server thing.... Wasn't it recently announced the White House was hacked? Isn't it possible that the email was safer on her own personal server instead of the White House?

Not only that, she hung on to everything for over 2 years and then when they started asking for it, suddenly it was gone and deleted by her own staff.... and she's already been caught lying about the emails she deleted and turned over and caught lying about not using the server/email for classified discussions. It's fucking insane that anyone would argue that a person running the state department should be running her own email server for a private residence with which all government (and owned by the people) correspondence is happening. She was briefed reguarly that she was not to be doing this, she (and her staff) were briefed regularly on how official correspondence was to be managed, through which emails, email servers etc and she basically said "fuck you".. then got busted and said "fuck you" again and deleted everything when she was required to hand it all over.... then said "fuck you" again, when the government asked for it all and she deleted it.

Thinking any of that is "OK" is moronic, no matter what side of the aisle you are on politically. Holy fuck. This is the government you want? A President ruling by decree... cabinet members who won't be fired no matter how bad they fuck up and people like lois lerner and others that tell any official investigatory body to fuck off, when looking into their misconduct, abuse of power and illegal actions? You're right... its a bit weird. I don't think it will hurt her chances among her supporters. But - this woman basically polls horribly when it comes to trust. A person that is known to lie, that can't be trusted, that gets cunty/offended when asked about her lies and who is now in the middle of this scandal... not where things are "suspected" but where facts have came out... and where she lied again about it all.

For the last 16 years the only thing that has mattered in getting anyone elected was 'how retarded their opponent happened to be." The last two decades have been much more about people disliking Romney, McCain, Kerry and Gore than they were about anyone being in favor of W or Obama.

Our last real election was people picking Bill Clinton over Bob Dole, who each had at least some of the respect of the people who didn't vote for them. Prior to them you have to go back probably to LBJ and Goldwater in 1964 to get 2 real candidates.

2016 is shaping up to be Hillary vs 'whoever crawls out of the clown car first' and while Hillary has lots of flaws, the race will be decided by the retard in opposition more than it will be decided by anyone liking Hillary affirmatively. I do hope we get more than one candidate again some day. The hope of a third party is quickly becoming replaced by the hope of having at least 2 political parties.

In 2012 I voted for Gary Johnson the Libertarian because his stated positions during the campaign aligned with mine.
People told me I "wasted" my vote because he couldn't "win".

I think she deleted everything prior to them every officially asking. So I dont think there is a crime in killing her server. I am sure the drives were burned.

Of course classified info over a gmail account is a no no but not sure its gonna stop her campaign.

The key now will be if Pres. Obama allows his Attorney General to prosecute or not using "Prosecutorial Discretion".

If he says "no", then there will be nothing further. If he says "yes", she's in a world of shit and her candidacy is over.

I'm thinking that he won't go against his "team" (the Democrats) on this. But some people say that the bad blood between Obama and the Clintons may be enough for him to hang her to dry.

if you two insist on seeing this as a repub witch hunt, you should also acknowledge the strategic blunder Hillary made in giving them the opportunity for a witch hunt. in fact, Hillary's never even given a reason for using the server.

if she had followed her employer's rules and regs, there would not be a "witch hunt".

and it's silly to think that because of john kerry, etc, that by default, a homebrewed server hosted at a residence would be more secure. how do you know Hillary's box wasn't hacked? you do not.

It's not illegal for her to have government emails on her server. In fact, it's a rather common practice. She was not the first Sect Of State to do so, and others have done it too.

Also, I don't believe it is illegal for her to delete the emails from her server. The law doesn't say "illegal to delete" but instead that there must be a copy preserved. Being as this was an official email address it went through government servers, and multiple copies should exist. It also shouldn't be required of the end user to keep copies of said emails, but instead the department to ensure proper records are kept.

Sorry, this is nothing but another Republican witch hunt to make Clinton look bad. Of course we'll have to roll out investigation number fourteen into Benghazi too before the election.
