Beware Affiliates - Is Sextronix fucking you too? [screenshots]
This post is me bitching about Sextronix -- a program that I want to love again. I have made decent money with them in the past, and they have always paid on time. So tonight I was going to dust off my links and start promoting them again. That is... until I looked closer at the shit they're pullin'.
Screenshots below.
As I said above... I want to like Sextronix. But after seeing this shit, I'll be avoiding them until they fix it. They promise "NO SHAVE" but based on these tests -- well, I'll let you be the judge. https://i.imgur.com/4bWmaPC.jpg https://i.imgur.com/IkJxJxi.jpg https://i.imgur.com/CxdlReF.jpg https://i.imgur.com/wBbgjVI.jpg For the record, I made this post for 2 reasons.
Last thought... Anyone want to wager how long it will take Sextronix to remove the cookie information from those join pages? If they are interested in transparency, and if they want to prove that they really are "NO SHAVE" they'll leave it there so we can check it anytime. |
doesn't sound good...
|
That's seriously bad for business. Awaiting their reply here. No problem with pulling their links as they are kind of outdated and old and not refreshing.
|
Interesting... curious about their reply. It's a good explanation for the low sales ratio.
|
Ouch :Oh crap

please add example ref-links ...

That's not good. :(

Old school sponsors of this kind were always shady. Running 100 cookie-cutter paysites means those sites can't be good quality and such a business is only a money generating tool designed to rip surfers off as much as possible.
You can only administrate a handful of sites, be dedicated to take care of their customers and do quality updates for them. I have seen member areas of so many old school sponsors I know what they are all like. They all suck. |
It's a scam, plain and simple.

Thanks for your post - I appreciate you bringing your concerns to the forefront and hopefully I have addressed them all thoroughly for you below. I can’t say that a negative post is useful, but in your previous thread regarding us you questioned if we were still alive. A second thread with the floor as an opportunity to speak about our product only confirms that we are indeed, alive. Right now we are in the midst of a large changeover, this changeover will apply to ALL of our sites and programs. During this time of change there are fixes that come along with all of it. This migration period may bring some bugs, our QA team is working hard to resolve them and we appreciate affiliate's cooperation if they discover any unusual behaviour that they notify us right away. We apologize for any inconvenience during this time as we are upgrading systems that we have been working with for 18 years. On the positive side we have lots of exciting stuff underway - we will be making a public post once everything has been done. 1. This issue has been addressed - there is no over ride at all for any pops of any kind - this includes the promo pop you have shown on your screenshot. 2. We were unable to reproduce this issue, we have had several people test it - both in and out of the office. Without seeing it ourselves we are not able to address this concern further. - please message one of us directly on Skype. 3. This was related to affiliate ID overriding (please refer to point 1.) This issue has been resolved and there is no leak. Even if the surfer selects the bonus sites the affiliate ID will carry over and your commission will be assigned correctly. 4. We could not reproduce this one either. Other site thumbs on joins are always paid if the user joins from another site. Cookies are universal, however we will try to reproduce for all conditions and until then we switched off links on them. 5. Please refer to all the above points. 6. We are not overriding any affiliate ID or cookie which means the commission and surfer are yours. 7. As explained above - the cookie issue has been resolved. If I match your information on GFY in our system, not sure if it is you but we have a webmaster with the username XSAXS. It looks like you haven’t pushed any traffic since June of 2015 (you did mention you are not promoting our products) hopefully with the above mentioned information you choose us again. If you have anything further to speak about message one of us on Skype and we would be happy to talk about any other questions you have. |
Is Sextronix getting consulting from 12clicks?

EDIT - EDIT - EDIT - EDIT: Just finished a basic test. Holy fuck. Based on what I'm seeing, you guys are either wildly incompetent or blatantly lying to everyone reading this thread. Quote:
I just reproduced the console / cookie overwrite in 3 clicks. Happening exactly as detailed earlier. What would possess you to come in here claiming to have fixed it when it's so demonstrably NOT fixed? https://i.imgur.com/5OmS9yN.jpg https://i.imgur.com/TzYQMls.jpg https://i.imgur.com/WoiuCbI.jpg https://i.imgur.com/WmaeisP.jpg https://i.imgur.com/Mo6Re72.jpg https://i.imgur.com/EdJYX8i.jpg Quote:

I didn't take time to screenshot it, but anyone can see for themselves. Here are the step-by-steps... (Note: affiliate code is not mine, and the single 5 in the URL is supposed to mean No Consoles.)

Let the test sales commence

so test them again anyhow. 2018 is almost here, brush off the Christmas tree and get ready for the new year. giving a shit about what the flow on an offer is a dead topic. I do not care, and you should not care. the only thing that matters is how much money you are making per click. if I see the EPC on an offer drop too much, or spike too much, I talk to the sponsor and find out what is wrong. I give no fucks about anything else. I am here to make money with my traffic. someone can pay me $20 a join or $200 a join, they can pay me 25% or 75% revshare, I dont give a shit about the payout, it is irrelevant. earning per click is the only thing that matters. we do business with sextronics and their support and service is always on point. they pay on time, and we send them the traffic that performs on their offers. your mileage may vary |

Cheers Sean - I appreciate your post and feedback, your points are very valid. We are lucky to have long standing relationships with allot of our affiliates, some we would even call family. Please do test yourself and as mentioned in my initial post - be sure to message us directly if there is anything you notice that seems strange, we will address it right away. |

* initial console pop, no click, no overwrite of affiliate ID * initial console pop, click, overwrite of affiliate ID with 15673 * console pop after clicking back button on join page, no click, overwrite of affiliate ID with 15673 * there are lots of traffic leaks * cross sales on the tours don't pass the affiliate ID * once 15673 is set, it can't be overwritten with a click from an affiliate link |
Did you clear the cache on your machine OP? After so much testing maybe you need to reboot?
|

I know what I'm doing. Any monkey could test it for themselves if they'll just follow the steps above. That's why it's so infuriating for Cassandram to say, "they couldn't reproduce the problem." Clearly InfoGuy is seeing the same results on his end. |

Years. Not minutes. Engagement ... Authority ... Influence ... Ecosystem ... User Experience ... this is the future. Apple Amazon YouTube Hulu Netflix Pornhub They're all thinking long term. If you're focused on EPC, then you're not focused on LCV. A costly mistake. :2 cents: Quote:

Your willingness to promote them again even after all this if they play clean is admirable. :) |

OP sounds legit, complaint is fully rightful, reply by Sextronix sounds bullshit.
Sextronix is on my blacklist now :( WTF :( |

I am surprised you guys are wondering why this company would screw over anyone. They would sell their own mother if she'd be worth anything :2 cents: :1orglaugh |

Once again, EPC. I can attribute a click over any amount of time. I can track the value of that click. I?m not sure what performance indicator your interested in. I?m interested in how much revenue comes from that click. It?s the reason I like companies like sextronics.... but I also like aliexpress I don?t care as much about what someone does after I send them the click, as much as I care about how much they are paying me for the click.... but once again, I?m old :) |

I will admit -- for years I ignored the card banging and justified it away. "The surfer should read the fine print for himself ... Fucking idiot deserves it." $35+ for a "free" signup was just too tempting, and I didn't care. But this ain't 2007 any more. And I'm done with that shit for good. This thread (and particularly cassandram's lame response) cemented it for me. I'm thinking long term. I'm thinking big. But whatever, man. You do you. |

I have bad experience with Sextronix as well. They wanted to play smart asses

Seriously, that's all you got? You come in here with a sophomoric attempt at humor, and without an explanation? Without verifiable proof that you've corrected the problems? I've documented that with 3 clicks anyone can prove your famous "NO SHAVE" promise is pure bullshit. I've documented that you are blatantly OVERWRITING affiliate cookies with another affiliate code. And you're trying to crack jokes? :1orglaugh |
