Chaturbate blatant FRAUD

We have known that models have been stealing affiliate traffic for a while now but this is getting out of hand. Take a look at this model page: https://en.chaturbate.com/dorikxxxxxx/

Try to click any link on the page and see what happens...This couple has put a transparent overlay over all the links leading to their own whitelabel, convenienly called "adsfree.chaturbate.com". They even overlayed the chaturbate logo

This means that any user that hits their page will be redirected to their own whitelabel if the user isn't registered already. So if your traffic isn't converting for chaturbate, you now know that this could be the reason.

These scums are literally stealing 100% of the traffic that affiliates sends to them.

Is chaturbate going to do anything about this? I doubt it...Just fuck affiliates right?

How long before all models start doing this bullshit?

Last but not least, they have their email in their bio which I guess is used to sell private skype calls outside of chaturbate...so they are screwing everyone.

If you dont like these tactics I suggest emailing their support asking to prohibit it, if enough affiliates complain, it might get chaturbate to actually stand up against this scums.

RycEric 10-28-2018 10:30 AM

careful, you'll hit a nail with the adapt or die folks.

chaturbate has always been a bit of a hit and miss with us. What we did find interesting though is sending the traffic directly to there "sign up page" and work it from a PPL model. (seems to work best) For me at least anyway. Anyone ever tested PPL directly to the sign up page before? Did it work better than rev? Guess it comes down to how much traffic you can send too.

Bladewire 10-28-2018 10:46 AM

If a surfer goes to the models bio page, and the content on that bio page entices them to click to sign up, then that model worked for the sale and earned that conversion.

If you want to sell traffic, then sell traffic.

If you want to be an affiliate, it is YOUR job to make the sale.

If you think your job as an affiliate is to just direct traffic to a page and the page makes the sale for you then don't promote models who have affiliate links on their pages.

So you as a program owner that wants to increase sales, puts a chat box at the bottom of your paysites, and if the surfer starts to interact with the operator, do you redirect the sale thru a signup page that the affiliate doesn't get credit for? How Is that fair ??

The affiliate did his/her job by getting the surfer to the page. Now it's the job of the cam site owner and the cam operators to close the sale.

xxx6live 10-28-2018 11:06 AM

Hmmm shady for sure.

Did a little quick investigation.

Following the link in the footer lead to a twitter account who seems to be the person making those profile pages. He/she links to many other similar looking CB profiles from his twitter (like duke42000) who has the same "adsfree" register link on top right.

It could sure look like the adsfree WL is owned the guy who makes those profiles for free (i suppose) for the performers.

Maybe the performers is unaware of what happens? Just a thought, no proof whatsoever.

No that's a traffic broker

It's a traffic brokers job to get the surfer to a page.

It's the job of a cam site owner to have a cam site that provides cam content to surfers.

The cam site owner brings on affiliates as part of their sales force.

If you're a good affiliate you don't even have to direct traffic to a site but for the join page. If you haven't closed your sale then you haven't done your job.

Shedevils 10-28-2018 11:26 AM

This is certainly becoming more and more common and the majority of performers are now aware of being able to do it. I've even seen iframes being compromised through some very creative graphics.

It's an interesting idea that there is some clever fucker doing hacked profile pages, but I would have my doubts about that as I see other forms of this all the time.

The real solution is to control outgoing links from performer pages.

99% of the time it's not the models doing it, it's the free bio page makers. They make the bio pages look cool, for free, and put their links in the HTML.

If a model sells themselves well in a bio page, they've earned that sale.

It's a models job to sell themselves, they are the ultimate affiliate for a platform.

I would disagree with that. I often see things like this:

So I should buy traffic from an ad network, send it to chaturbate and the model gets paid for it? Are you stupid or just trying to justify this behavior since you are cam model that also does this?

How should affiliates get paid then if all models start doing this? We should work hard on our site so it can rank on google, buy traffic and give it to chaturbate for free?

You think the model made that page?

I'm on my phone so I can't look at the HTML and get the affiliate code and Google it but that looks like a template.

TFCash 10-28-2018 11:38 AM

You should find a cam program that isn't complicite.

I guarantee, it's less than a few lines of code to look for what they are doing and to filter it out, if chaturbate wanted too, there would be no models stealing traffic :thumbsup

I'm not a cam model

I'm a content producer with multiple sites I own and run myself for 20 years now.

If I was you I'd have my whitelable modified so when a person cicked a model it would go to a signup page with an enlarged live feed of the model at the top. The surfer fills out the signup page to be able to chat and when they click submit it sends the data to chaturrbates API and they take it from there. There's no way for bio page traffic leaks that way.

This guy needs to be banned! He's the guy making these profiles and looks like he's getting all the credit for sales. I see he's made 12 of them so far. Thankfully none of them top models so it's not hurting my pocket.

Checked my logs, I have 420 clicks on the dorikxxx.. profile form my "feeder" sites the last 2 weeks, so there are still potential for some loss.

BTW it is not looking the same on my WL, just a few tiny links upper right corner. Strange.

You're just screwing around right? You don't really believe this. It would be really weird if you did. Maybe weird is the wrong word - ignorant fits better.

All you have to offer is insults & sarcasm, that is ignorant. No value to your post whatsoever.

Cyber Fucker 10-28-2018 04:26 PM

This is not far from cookie stuffing... and it's certainly tricking the system. Fooling customers, affiliates and chaturbate.
Now, if the chaturbate management are stand up guys they should do something about it.

So it's a one guy behind this scheme... Then certainly he should get banned.
If it was models getting that clever I would give them a second chance, removed the bad stuff and gave them a warning. And if they do it again I would remove it again and lowered their earnings. I think that should do the trick. Extra monies could be redistributed among honest affiliates... well... could be...

Or maybe it's not models involved but only some hacker... all in all hacking a few passes is not that hard...

Well, waiting for the official chaturbate statement.

Again this is why I say chaturbate is complicite with the models cheating the affiliates out of their cut. It would be really easy for them to filter links like that out of the system. Send them a warning, then cut them off :321GFY

WTF is wrong with you?

You are a lazy shit ass fuck you! :321GFY

You are a lazy ass traffic broker posing as an affiliate!

You can't make the sale

You want Chaturbate & their models to do your job for you!

You can't compete with model affiliates and custom profile makers with your shitty out of the box white label so you trash Chaturbate.

If you are an affiliate then earn your money salty boy! If you're just sending traffic fishing for gold then shut the fuck up!

The rules for 20 years have always been the last affiliate that gets the click gets the cash. And here you are bitching like a little trump.

I'm doing my job, not blaming anyone. Just pointing out when a program is taking advantage of their affiliates, by letting the models steal traffic, when all they have to do is a little filtering.

You really are off your med's tonight, your a douchebag most of the the time, but you have it dialed up to like a 10 this evening :1orglaugh

In case you've not noticed, I don't have a dog in this fight, I don't run cam programs. Don't send any affiliate traffic to cam's, but if I did I'd be pissed off if the cam operator allow the models to steal the traffic I sent by overlying affiliate clicks of their own back into the signup page.

Bladewire, you should really take up a hobby or something :321GFY

Dude

You are crying like a little BITCH because you have competition.

As an affiliate

Your job is to close the sale

That is NOBODY'S job but YOURS , as an affiliate

You want 20% commission for life for whales

EARN IT!

If you don't have a dog in this fight then shut the fuck up you stupid dry little cunt

Chaturbate has model affiliates

Chaturbate has whitelable affiliates

Chaturbate has traffic brokers and many other ways of making money on their site.

You don't know the difference between a traffic broker and an affiliate and you are bitching and moaning in this thread and then you cop out at the end and say you have no dog in this fight like a salty little trump.

Fuck off loser :321GFY
