I feel so violated!
Never in my life have I been the victim of a break in. Well leave it to me to not set my alarm last night and someone (likely kids) broke into the entry door on my garage, rifled through my car and my son's car (both were unlocked and in the garage) and tried to pry apart the door handle on my son's pickup.
All they took was a garage door opener and a mailbox key. The opener has been reprogrammed and the mailbox lock rekeyed. Spent the afternoon getting car alarms installed on both the boys' vehicles. Cops took pics and fingerprints, but likely nothing will come from it. Now I'm freaking that they're gonna try to come in the house. |
You're persiankitty.com ?
Sorry, just in shock. |
Also - I was broken into 3 times one year.
It's terribly violating. It doesn't feel safe for awhile. But that passes. |
That sucks. You don't have any K9 kitties protecting your property?
|
hey.. yeah i had a breakin last week... it was on saturday at 6:30.. some fucking drugged up guy broke a window.. tried to steal some stuff
he got cut on the glass and ran.. he was caught.. i know how u feel.. if u need anything hit me up 152179941.. im no guidance councillor.. but its nice to talk sometimes. feel better. |
nothing's worse than the feeling you get when someone's violated your stuff like that
hope they get 'em |
you need one of these: http://cultofthewolf.org/blackguy.html

You need to talk to a security consultant - there are various things you can have done to your house that will make it unattractive to thieves without having it turned into a fortress.
Most thieves are just looking for an easy place to rob so even a minimum level of security is usually enough to deter them. |
I feel for you...
they stole one of my surveillance cameras from my roof one night. Thats bad.... |
Something about the kids in the Pacific Northwest on summer vacation. There's been a rash of car break-ins around the Portland area.
|
i think all u guys should move into those big/expensive condos.. now thats security..
|
that sucks about the break-in
but you're beth from persian kitty? sorry im new around here.. you're like the clickcash legend. i <3 you.. will you be my second mom? |
Someone crashed their car into our front tree. Found a crack pipe the next day.

Get the old code from the garage door and make an alarm to go off so if he presses the button to open your door you know he is back.

That's terrible Persian
Recently I had someone try to steal the tires off of my '77 Scout. They must of been scared of but managed to loosen and remove the lug nuts off of the fron drivers side tire. I didn't realise what had happened until the tire flew off while driving around a corner. Not a good morning. |
Well if you would have listed the sites I submitted to you I wouldn't have to resort to such drastic measures to put bread on the table :winkwink:

PK, you need me to come up and break some kneecaps? :)
I have a pellet gun that looks kinda like a .22 and had some kids go over my back wall all the time...I hit the backdoor with that thing and started talking like a crazy man and those kids almost shit themselves. I was acting like I was hearing voices and begging the voices to stop telling me to kill |

What's even more funny is that you think some Black guy would sit in your piece of shit car all day listening to your bullshit without busting you in your fucking mouth. :1orglaugh |
When I had my house up for sale...the real estate agents would have 'open house' on Sundays....I was already packed and getting ready to move....
I think it was probably someone who came to the Open House that weekend, because a few days later, I came downstairs and noticed my dining room window was shattered and all my boxes were gone. They had even come upstairs to my bedroom. I think they weren't expecting anyone to be home; but they heard me in the bathtub....my radio was on pretty loud.... So, these bastards not only took my stuff....all nicely marked in permanent ink and packed up...they did it when I was bathing... I feel for you, PK.... I look around my house now...in Washington...and I realise that there isn't any way to keep someone out who wants to come in. Safety is truly an illusion and locks only keep honest people honest. |
Yes.. I'm persiankitty.com I think anyone else posting under the name of PersianKitty would have been booted out long ago.
There is more than minimal security here, but I'd left the alarm off because the boys had a friend over.. they stay up late and sometimes will go to the fridge in the garage for pop, juice or milk. Never would of thought I needed to lock my car doors in my garage. Adding some extra deterrants on the door they came in through in a few days. Possibly adding a driveway motion detector also. |
YIKES RAVEN!
That's awful. Sorry to hear that. |
Hey PK,
I have never been broken into, but I can imagine how violated you would feel. It is a shame when you work and other people try to steel what you've earnt - usually people who have never worked before, and probably never had things stolen from them, so they don't know how it feels to be a victim of theft. I always try and look on the bright side of life :) I'm sure it could have turned out worse, you still got your health, & still got persiankitty.com :) |

I've been jacked in my home 5 times and every single time it was committed by someone who knew me or had been in my home before. I got my stuff back most of the time by agreeing not to press charges against them if I got my stuff back. Then I threaten to cut their guts out and ran them out of my neighborhood. Your robbers are probably teenagers in the area. If you have kids they probably know the crooks. |
That really sucks, sorry to hear about that. I have never had my home broken into but my car has been. Here in my neighborhood they broke a garage in to steal a car. Pretty crazy and risky but they got away with it. Are you going to be at Internext?

PK I know what you are dealing with. Sometime after the 4th of July some cockholsters ( probably kids) tried to set my fishing camp on fire.
They put some plastic chairs underneath it ( the camp is raised since its on the water) and lit the chairs on fire... luckily it burned itseld out, so there was no structural damage - only smoke damage. I was pretty pissed, Arson is a major crime - but cops did not do anything but write a report. I was thinking of putting up a cash reward on my own.... |
Dogs are a bad idea. Usually little kids get hurt and that really pisses me off! :feels-hot Stupid dogs!
Get cameras everywhere, and when you catch whoever is fuckin you hunt them down and cut off their pinky and tell them to tell every other mofo out there not to touch your fuckin estate. |
Awwwwwwww PK :(
Want me to send KC and his gun down for a few days? I would think your boys could kick some butt if they needed to :) Get a big ass rotty that bark and drools a lot! |

Brad bought one, but could not keep it so he gave her to me.... she is awesome... and I feel comfortable leaving my wife at home alone. She is great around my nephews, who are 3 and 1.5 - they are very rough with her. |
i'm sorry to hear that PK. odd coincidence, last night there were 50 cars stolen near my area last night.
|
Yeah little things like that suck. I had a rental car outside for 2 nights while my real car was being worked on. I had lots of moutain biking equipment, bags, gloves, $150 sun glasses. I had $2.50 in change that I had in the middle console.
They broke the back left window, left my $150 sun glasses (the seat was down covering them), and took the $2.50 in coins. I went to get the window fixed and fuck it had to be a special window from Hyandai which cost $200 US Thats assholes, $2.50 for $200 worth of damage. |
Right after I moved to Vegas I had somone try to break in.
I was still in bed about 10am, someone started ringing the doorbell, since I didn't answer the door they figured I wasn't home. They kept ringing the damn doorbell, and it pissed me off, so I got up, put my pants on and started down the stairs just in time to see someone on the back porch trying to pry the window open. Before I could get out the back he saw me coming and took off. I'm so fat and out of shape I couldn't catch him. If it would have happened the day before no one would have been home. |

Peeks, you did the right thing, alarms on all your cars, also, remind your kids to lock the doors regardless if they are in the garage or not....
i wonder if the cops knew they were at the first webmistress of e-porn's house??? =) |
