That kind of site is really good for the initial 'wow factor' ... but after clicking on a few things and having to wait for all of the cute transitions and subsection loads most people would probably get bored pretty quickly...

you got 20 seconds, get their attention and make the sale.

He's not trying to make a quick sale, and that site is not for average surfers.
