Most annoying banner, right after the old Hustler banner with the cash register that wouldn't shut the fuck up, if you accidentally scrolled over it.

Let me ask you this. And be serious. You know of my program because of the banner, and yes im sure it aggravates you some, but would you hold that personally against me? If we met at a show and I wanted to talk business with you over a few drinks would you pop me in the jaw? Or would we have a genuine business discussion. We would probally even laugh over the banner.
So i agree its a minor annoyance to some, but it's just that really. It wouldnt stop anyone from doing business with an honest guy and honest program. Do you agree?

I know about your program from the banner, but I never clicked through to check it out becase the banner pissed me the fuck off.

What you have managed to achieve is get your program permanently blacklisted in my mind. Congrats.

I love the banner :thumbsup

I dig the banner and I find myself putting the mouse over it to hear it when I see it.

the banner annoyed me. several times i had to scramble to turn my sound down.

id say banners with sound are on the same level as popup ads. they are forced on you.

What the Duke has achieved is to get his program known by everyone on this entire board. I'd call this quite an accomplishment. Personally however, I find the audio part quite annoying.

Naaah... but probably suggest that you hire a flash designer who can make the sound only play, when the cursor is over the banner, and stops promptly when the cursor is moved off the banner.

Annoying ads will hurt business in the long run :2 cents:

Hey Duke, at the 2004 Internext were you at the 3 day long meatcash party at all? Eventually I ended up letting people in the door, because it was so busy. At some point I just stopped letting random people in, because why not. I remember one guy yelling and screaming "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? I'm ...." <Door slams shut>

im sorry to hear that. i've read some of your posts and disagreed with them plenty of times, i never ripped on you, or formulated an opinion; and to be honest, if you wanted to sign up to my affiliate program i would have no problem setting you up with custom add tools myself personally. I understand how you feel though, and i extend my hand with no hard feelings.

Dude, we were pals by then. It was teh first day by the casinos. you were with nifield, huggles, and agent white. About 6 months prior was when i was running sperm shack. Some of your links got hotlinked which i had nothing do do with. You got in my face but it was more of you joking around and I took it as such. After I explained the whole thing to you, you and huggles and nifield were cool. Agent white still had a beef but that was soon over. You and me actually spent alot of time together at the meat cash party. And trust me, im not the kind of guy to say "do you know who I am?" especially when i had the yellow menaces cell#. But we had a great time and it was great meeting you. I think since then you and I have always been friendly and i consider you a friend.
