I think you have to take things into perspective.. that looks much like an amateur slaughterhouse. Sure there are more humane ways of killing things than that , but if you took the recent kentucky fried chicken workers beating chickens to death against cages , its pretty much the same thing.

I like dolphins. I like cows and even chickens.. I'll admit i am a hypocrite and eat them just the same , but at least im honest about what im doing..

I think there may be a difference on the way how to slaughter them. Those who have to eat twenty five steaks a day to be happy maybe don´t see it, but that´s a problem of all contries, not Japan alone.

I love mahi mahi and real dolphin but your wrong about mahi mahi... it is called dalphin but no relation to the dolphin like we think of dolphins... mahi mahi is a fish...

I just think that the way they treated the animals in this movie is not right and it´s not necessary to do so, even if you want to eat meat.

Dolphins are more highly evolved creatures, they've got personality and intelligence, so it's harder to see that. But cows, goats, chickens and countless other creatures die just like that every day and nobody strings together sad music and videos with dead pan commentary for them?

This shit pisses me off.

Some in-the-know would argue that its possible dolphins are just as intelligent as (if not more intelligent than) humans... they just don't have the benefit of hundreds/thousands of years of working with opposable digits.

There have been countless occurances, throughout sea-faring time, of dolphins saving drowning men from certain death.

So it's known as a dolphin thru-out the world but it's not a "dolphin" because it didn't get it's own american television series in the 60's called Flipper.
So since the TV show made all these mainland hoales fall in love with the "dolphin" nothing else that was a dolphin before can still be called that because nobody in Hawaii wants you to think you are eating Flipper.

Mahi Mahi is commonly, but perhaps incorrectly called a "Dolphin" because of it's appearance. It has a blunt forehead, similar in shape to that of actual "Dolphins"

But it is a fish. A gill-using, non-milk producing, simple nerve system, no hair having, egg-laying fish.

A Dolphin is a mammal. It gives birth to live young, produced milk to feed its young, has lungs, breaths air, has a brain roughly the size of a human.... and even has hair as a youth.

Flipper's genetically more closely related to humans than he is to Mahi Mahi - by a long shot.

It's not like the fucking dolphin is going to help your 5 yr old kid with his homework. Reality check one..check two....

Yes, the kind of dolphin that westerners are so thrilled with are mammals.
Nobody looked at a Mahi-Mahi and thought it was a "Flipper" and thus incorrectly called it a dolphin. It look nothing at all like Flipper!
It was called dolphin because of it's behavior paterns in the sea.

Thats just wrong plain and simple. Anytime you kill something and let it just suffer while it dies is wrong.

I'm not saying its wrong to hunt and kill. Thats nature to kill and eat. But to sit there and watch it suffer and sufficate and bleed to death is FUCKING WRONG.

Why don't they just chop the entire head off so the poor animal doesn't have to sit there in pain and dye a slow death?
