90mb isnt that much ..

lets say a few big tgp's put it on their main page, that would only be like 100k to 500k per day that would only be like 45 tb's a day of bandwidth

you should go into your winamp file associatns and remove playlist files as winamp default as most of them have videos that winamp cant play.

in winamp OPTIONS>PREFERENCES>FILE TYPES

remove asf

or just embed it if you cant see it in winamp

I use windows media player and it loads perfect. I'm surprised people still use crappy 3rd party wannabe players like winamp and other junk...

its usually because other players take priority over the file extension on files that most people arent always aware.

I hate when programs do that .. if winamp could play the files properly that would be fine.. i think they play fine in vlc player and some others but to make your program take priority over other programs that canplay the file properly is silly and not helping the user in any way.

Considering that they had to drop free videos from 10 to 3 this week, you have to assume that bandwidth is biting these guys in the ass bigtime.

use their embed code and resize it to 100x100px, then instruct your surfers to hit play on ALL the ones on your pages at once and let the page stay open

imagine if 100 users did this consistently for 5 hours straight

Jace, someone yesterday got a limit of 3 (and posted it in another thread). Perhaps they are throttling by block or country or something trying to limit the leeches... which when you think about it is totally fucking funny.

yeah, i saw that thread and tried yesterday and today to get that 3 limit, never could

regardless, my contribution to the downfall of megarotic is going there every single day and using up my 10 limit by opening the longest videos I can find and letting them play in their entirety all at once

So raising their BW bill is supporting them how?

it was 3 free videos not 10 yesterday

maybe a temporary thing and now they got back to 10 per day

weird, I got there every day like I said and only saw the 10 thing...it probably was temp though

well if you use their embed code you have to have the aff ad and the video doesnt prebuffer until you hit the play button. my embed code skips the aff ad and skips the prebuffer and goes straight to the flv

And as a bonus the video smokey posted is actually hot for your surfers... Who did they steal it from?

The whole piracy thing is getting a lot out of control... there are those here on GFY that do support them... but I did make the mistake of jumping before I looked... my bad.. won't happen again.
