My son is addicted to WOW ...playing for 24 hours non stop
 

My 18 year old son played the stupid game for over 24 hours over the weekend without even going to bed.
I think that is an addiction. If he keeps doing it Im gonna pull out his internet connection I think

yeah, i never really got into video games. i much rather be making money on the computer than killing warlocks or whatever the fuck they do in that game. the only game i like playing is rock band while drinking with some friends.

I doubt it. I'm 42 and still love gaming. It's actually one of my only outlets. It's actually funny going into cod and owning all the younger people.

yeah nothing wrong with being an adult gamer. In fact the game industry has spent billions trying to chantge the "image" of a gamer from fat chubby kid, to a an older college kid/ dads and moms for years.

i enjoy senselessly player killing the youth as well. I dont have acrtive WOW account at the moment but thwere is nothing more fun than being a Player Killer.

Video game addiction is real, not only is it an escape its an addiction. Theres been studies showing the increased release of dopamine while playing video games, almost the same pattern as heroin addicts.

Boy needs real social skills... he should take up crossdressing or something.

Don't take violent or decisive action, he'll hate you for it. He'll get over it on his own, make him pay the internet and power bill, that'll get him off his ass and working. I was a game addict too and left home at 18 'cause of the tension. Of course I had to find a job to pay the rent and support myself and it's been a few years now since I pulled an all-nigher :1orglaugh

That game gives him a sense of accomplishment. If he had something in real life that gave him a similar gratifying sense of accomplishment, the game wouldnt be such a priority.
