No, but it is hard to believe that models from 7 years ago still work actively. My guess is you hooked up with an ex studio/model manager for a big site who poached all the model and studio contact details and possibly the model's IDs and photos. Anyone in the webcam business for any period of time knows you can not deliver on these numbers of models with any degree of certainty. Is your partner on GFY? If he is the one with the goods why is he having you be the public face for this? "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain..."?

I took this to the web. My partner was set to start a new cam site with me and I said we should sell his contacts while our site is being built. And thats the truth of it. In the near future I will have a new site and will also utilize some of the girls we don't "sell" to anyone.
We will work closely long after the order to ensure satisfaction. If some of the girls bail, I don't have a problem sending another batch to top off the order.

Yes there are some serious accusations coming from clients and 2 cam studios. I've been in biz 13 yrs thus far and I'm not looking to burn anyone. Period. I've managed to do biz with a lot of honest people but somehow managed to let 1 or 2 slick-talking bad eggs get by.

Anyone else here ever been deceived? No I guess not right? The lure of money seems to have prompted a guy named Jose Rodrigeuz or Joe to set up some bogus deals with studios for web girl delivery in hopes of getting money from me before I found out. I'm working with 2 clients (the only 2 I was testing this with) to rectify and satisfy the deals with another provider that I've previously done good biz with.

I'm a trusting guy, some people are very convincing, but this will tighten my trust up once again. Sucks. Again, I am NOT doing business with this guy. The minute I found out he was lying, I told him he had a day or two to make this right and come clean, he never proposed anything and has since tried to get me to pay him $1500 for his contact list.. unfuckingbelievable.

I don't like to play the victim to wiggle out of anything, but in this case, yes I am a victim of the circumstances. I only wish to continue doing honest business as I have over the years. I'm dealing with the 2 clients accordingly and until I've resolved the issues I'll not get into more unnecessary detail here in public domain.

I'm in talks to help build up an already functioning webcam recruiting service. So I can begin again soon hopefully on a smaller scale at first. I need to deal with the situation at hand first obviously.

I don't think Adam could ever deliver on it and it sounds like there is absolutely no chance of him delivering on anything unless he pays this Jose guy $1500 for his studio Rolodex and even then word has spread around the model and studio community so fast about this he will have to use a pseudonym :1orglaugh

I think you just answered my question. You were paid and you are the victim, yes? I am told people are already lawyering up to sue you so hold on to that money... unless of course you plan to pay the studios and models that got burned on this deal, which I doubt.

can see I'm not going anywhere I'll be posting a new promo soon like I've done for years without problem.

The scammer involved here was a chat girl source, I shouldn't have called him a partner, thats like saying Friend, its a strong word I don't throw around loosely. In this case, this scammer kept telling me everything I wanted to hear and was very convincing until I found out he was telling studios he was with Webcams.com and adding fat bonuses to studio accounts if they diverted girls to new chat sites. He obviously didn't want those studios in communication with me since he was lying to make a quick buck before disappearing. I have icq chats here emailed to me to prove it. Also my icq and emails between the scammer prove my innocence of any wrongdoing. Hadn't been scammed in ages so my guard was down a bit.

We've got companies with $50k+ right now looking for cam girls, now I'll be pitching directly to studios who wish to make some extra (found money) for registrations to new chat sites.

I've spoken to my clients and we're working it all out.. and spoke to the studios who got duped.. and the scammer will probably continue out there somewhere under a new name.. I will continue to do honest biz with honest companies, being more careful of lying bitches. ha.

You claim to not know that you were supposed to pay the studios part of the money you were paid.

This is not someone I would ever want to be involved with...

I think this is a good example of why people should be weary of who they get into bed with.

It seems far to often people are willing to be middle men when they think there is easy cash to be made, but when one end doesn't come through for the other they don't want to assume any accountability.

I'm not trying to pick on Adam specifically, just addressing a troubling trend. When you are a middle man the client is making the deal with you, not whatever partner or third party you are also involved with. Before getting into any deal brokering, as a middle man you should have the cash on hand to be able to deliver full refunds to your clients if the deal goes bad. That's the risk you take, and that's why you should vet your partners to the best of your ability before putting yourself out there.

I just see it far too often (in mainstream and adult) where someone brokers a deal, takes the cash, and then when things blow up they try to wipe their hands of it and pass the buck on to the client. IMO that's bullshit. You have to accept the risk if you're willing to take the reward.

To bring this back around and address the topic at hand I hope Adam makes good for those who ordered these lists, because if you review the posts he is putting his name up front and is promising HE can deliver. Regardless of if you partnered with a flake, you're the one who decided to partner with him and put your name infornt of this offer to sell it to us. If you want to keep a solid rep you need to make things right. Don't put your hands up and try to walk away and say, "We all got screwed", that's not good business.
