Idiot Americans, checks are obsolete. Get that into your retarded heads!
WHY do you still use your fucking checks all you American retards! Use WIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
The day that wires involve little if any fees, I will be a happy panda. I hate checks too and sometimes there's really no alternative when accepting $x,xxx for something. Wires are perfect except the fees.

I dont care if I have to pay ~$50 for the company to send out the wire, just do it. It cost me money too cash checks too. Checks are what retards use to send money. I bet most of you people who send out checks drive a T-ford and dont even own a fucking phone.

cash on hands works best :)

In order to maximize my rates on my savings accounts, I ask that the only way I can take money out of the accounts is if I come into the bank in person and make the withdrawal. Some US banks will pay over 4% interest on savings if you do this. Plus, I'm not so likely to spend my savings if they are not so easily accessible.:thumbsup
Wires suck in my opinion along with debit cards, credit cards and auto-pay authorizations on your bank accounts. Just give away access to your cash.:2 cents: |

You don't even show any signs of knowing what a wire is. A wire is an instant transfer, where money is being dialed in, usually via phonelines. Direct contact between the banks, they watch the funds clear in real time and deal is done (often no money is transferred in real time, but an account is virtually credited, then a final clearing is done at night, which is why such things as overnight limits and overdrafts exists, but that's probably above your head). What you are referring to, and what is free, in most European countries, is what Americans know as ACH. There is a payment directive in place in Europe, effective from July 1st 2010, where it stipulates that intra European transfers are to be free and done within a day, in one or two years. Transferring from one account in one bank, to your friends account in the same bank is usually instant or within the hour. You should really try to get out more, you surely show how ignorant and unknowing you are with your post. Next time, try to read up on things, before just running your mouth. |
most banks charge a wire fee, at least i have yet to be able to recieve a wire from anywhere without a fee being paid.. hell when you issue the wire you state who pays for it, sender, reciever or each their own part of it..
Checks are good but ofcourse they can NSF on yea but for some things checks are still a great means of payment. |

banks needs to update the wire system and make it more automated and do away with the fees. They are outdated and if banks don't want to deal with checks, they need to do this.
|
Direct Deposit or ACH Deposit.... Far cheaper than wires, often free with many banks and faster too.

Most of the mainstream programs (like CPA networks) pay US webmasters via Direct Deposit with no fees paid by the webmaster. It doesn't seem to be so hard.

You really do not get it, do you? How about some education, it can't hurt you? Way to miss the point in the post above too, losers and uneducated people usually do resort to complaints and name calling when intelligent arguments run out. |

Always wondered about the high wire fees. Nowadays doing a bank transfer isn't much different from sending money via paypal or epass (RIP) You log in, send the cash, and log out.
So the question is why not ACH out of the USA? Actually I don't know if I can send bank transfers overseas from my bank, never tried... |

and why don't you tell all program owners what wire is if you have problem whit that :2 cents: |

If you are an American, there is absolutely no reason you should need to use any service like ePassporte. It's unnecessary risk when you can have the money transferred directly to your bank account at a minimal cost, direct deposit is very cheap when setup properly. |

You STILL do not get it about wires? The program keep money in their bank account, they need to pay an affiliate. The affiliate needs money quick and asks for a wire. The program asks its bank to do the transfer for them to the receiving bank. Transfer carried out between the two banks. Money will show up same day or in some cases, when transfer is done after certain cut off times, the amount will show up next day on the affiliate's account. Is that easy enough for you, or you need the baby version too? You should try to learn to read and comprehend what's written, that way you could educate yourself a bit! About banking systems It all comes down to the banking systems in America as compared to Europe working differently and before the internet there was no live communication between banks. For the most parts, there is still no live communication setup at all times between banks. So when one bank need to make a rush order (wire or similar) they call up the other one and make the trade. Intra-bank systems has been in the talks for years, but many brokers and "middle men" earn more monthly than Average Joe's yearly salary, just to be sitting in nice comfy offices making phone calls and transferring money. With different time zones, exchange rates, risk of default before clearing happens, overnight overdrafts and so on are all part of day to day banking. Those are risks which needs to be asserted and paid for somehow. Which is why many fees exists. |
