How to take down Tube sites: Tutorial
This is a short tutorial on how to get Tube sites taken down from Google.
Everyone knows that Tubes thrive on Search Engine traffic, and the reason porn sales are down is because Search Results are dominated by Tubes giving out tons of porn for free to new surfers. They discover internet, do a search for porn, get landed on Tubes and never pay for porn again. Most webmasters also know that Tubes buy backlinks everywhere they can, in order to manipulate their search positions - this is a big violation of Google guidelines. In this thread i will show you 4 easy steps to remove a tube site from Google through a spam complaint form: 1. Get a google email account (skip this step if you already have www.gmail.com acount) 2. Go to this spam report URL: https://www.google.com/webmasters/to...amreport?hl=en 3. Click on the Paid Links hyperlink 4. Follow this screenshot and hit submit http://clip2net.com/clip/m84465/1327...-clip-22kb.png If 10-50 people do this, Google quality control team will definitely take a look at the website. And when they check the backlinks, they will impose a ban on the domain. It's an easy way for everyone to contribute to solve the Tubes problem. Only takes 5 mins, so there is no excuse not to do it. |
There are some link sellers / buyers here that have no idea how much Google hates paid links and SEO. "But they give you wembaster tools!!!"

All we need is to get "Google Search Quality Control Team" to take a look at the domain. They will take it up from there (checking the linkbacks and looking for violations - winch are plenty) So if enough people submit this report, we will get their attention, and it's a done deal. Just give it a try with this one domain - if it works, we will coordinate the report on the next one. |
Thanks Dark Jedi.

Google has millions of sites every day to take care of. It possible they never got to pornhub yet. That's where the reporting comes in - we need to get their attention. Google is a huge corporate bureaucracy. Maybe they need official complains to investigate something. In any case, the method I propose is extremely easy. You don't have to be a huge company, you don't have to spend money. You just need to take 5 mins and send the report. People always whine and come up with excuses how they have no way of fighting big bros - so here's your chance. I think it's worth a shot. Quote:
It'd easy, it takes 5 mins and you don't have anything to lose anyway. :2 cents: |

Second off, tubes aren't ranking high in SERPs because they're buying a ton of backlinks. They're relevant, they update regularily, users spend a huge amount of time on the site and follow a ton of the links. A friend of mine who runs a giant tube that used to be a giant TGP showed me the difference in traffic productivity between the two formats and the difference is exponential. So given that all of this is true, and it is, you think Google's going to look at some complaints and say to themselves "Even though this site meets all the criteria for ranking high and is in fact exactly what someone searching for free porn would want to find, let's just go ahead and penalize it anyways."? Of course that's not going to happen. Wishful thinking at best. I have a feeling you know better because I know you're up on SEO so you're probably just trolling. |
Someone already posted a thread like this in the past.
Do you really think they don't know those big tubes buy links? They sure know it, they also know surfers love tube sites so they don't/won't do anything. |

Your analogy is akin to Pablo Escobar. While he mas massively supporting the local populace, he was still an outlaw. IN ANY CASE: how hard is it to just give it a try and see if it works? Would take 5 min of your day. |

the only sites still buying links anymore are the big tubes. they buy tons.

I agree that if people sit on their ass and do nothing, Google won't bother doing anything either. But if people start drawing attention, and showing that the companies policies are being violated - they'd be pressed to at least investigate. I'm not saying it's a 100% sure-fire way to get rid of the tubes, but this is a possible solution to a big problem that doesn't take ANY resources. At least give it a try. |

What people have to realise is Tubes are taking the traffic for more reasons than them being free. |

Also when it comes to buying/selling hardlinks,i think google did a mistake there with claim how they penalize for it,but what they actually penalize it's spam link, because how could they know did you added link because you like it,is it link exchange or you sold link.If it's non-relevant aka spam in their eyes, they will penalize pr or rankings of domain.I added many times non relevant links on one my mainstream site to see what will happen, and every time when i did pr dropped from pr5 to pr4 or pr3,and reverted back when i removed links.Problem with porn, everything is more less relevant due to text similarity which we use to describe content so almost nothing can be considered as link spam. What would have more sense it's to educate those hardlink sellers to stop selling hardlinks to ilegall tube sites, because by that action they lost much more no matter what money they received for hardlink. |

Just fucking report them and let Google sort it out. I had had my own sites banned for spammy backlinks before, and discussed it with google quality control. They do manually check the linkbacks and can ban you very easily. |
