he really wanted to be a writer. and wanted to make money so he could pursue that goal. his life was a tragedy, unfortunately.
|
Did it ever come out exactly how he died, just curious since he was so young.

I kinda wish I knew more, so I could avoid any potentially negative lifestyle consequences... |

Like my friend who was on something like a 15 mile jog when he collapsed, lapsed into a coma and woke up with pancreatic cancer at 26. Epitome of perfect health and seemingly good genes. He did just have his sixth surgery though and is now cancer free. Still getting a new liver in a few months. Wow, just typing that, I wonder if that is what took quiet. Pancreatic cancer usually moves very swiftly. |

I'd say if anyone was living a healthy lifestyle it was him, but judging by his photos... he liked his alcohol too. And I do too. That's what worries me. That's why I wish I knew more... |

It seems like there is no rhyme or reason. I know people who have been smoking more than 50 years with a clean bill of health and a 20 year old kid who never touched a cigarette and is in hospice at 20 and passing from lung cancer. |
What happened to him?

he inspired me to do what he wanted to do in life. And I never quite understood it until he was gone. His inspiration still lives in me. I think about quiet almost everyday while working something will be triggered something he told me or taught me, I miss him more than anyone ive known online. He was a great person and as I always said, he would hit me up for a job, tell me it cost too little and pay me extra hundred or so - when we launched DMPM he basically just told me he wanted to be part of it and started funding it. His heart was bigger than his bank accounts, I assure you that. Ive never met or encountered another soul quite like his and dont know that I ever will. I shared this because you guys respected and admired him as I did/do and I knew thoughts of him would be a good thing. Enjoy the day everyone |
I always enjoyed his backcountry snowboarding stories/photos and mtn biking stuff. RIP pal.
|
It has already been a year it seems. Not sure the exact date but a year ago... so sad. Miss that guy.

RIP quiet...
I hope he planned for succession so that his family or partner gets the money, rather than it sitting elsewhere perpetually unclaimed. |
