Blogs: sending to fhgs or directly to the paysite
I personally send them to a fhg. This obviously results in way less clicks to the paysite but the surfer who clicks through does so by choice and is more likely to sign up then random people you send there. I never really did a big scale test to see what works best. So i wonder if someone else did and would mind sharing the results.

Each additional step between the consumer and the objective reduces the total number of people who would potentially convert no matter how motivated they are.
The fewer steps, the better. This is true in everything online. |

And by the way, i should point out thats not absolutely true. I mean people will go through a 4 step registration process just as easily as a 3 step registration process, provided they are motivated, they understand why the steps exist, where they are in the process, when it ends etc.
But from blog -> fhg (totally in-congruent to blog look/feel and often poorly done) -> paysite landing page (again, often different from fhg look/feel/language) -> tour page -> join page is adding an unnecessary step with no benefit to the user. |
depends what your goal is. if you want to build traffic with repeat visitors and such direct to a paysite isn't going to cut it.
|
Depends on the tour. For sites like Bangbros, RK, I link to the specific scene trailer. There's a enough free porn on most tours and it's easier access to signup once they're there.

Look at a random tgp for instance. If all the links would go directly to a paysite. People click a link. Get a paysite...quickly close the site because they want to see some content. Try another link...paysite...they simply then move on. The same surfer when he knows he will get galleries will try maybe 10 galleries and finally visits a gallery he really likes and then by his own choice clicks through to the sponsor. Because he is interested to see what the the site might offer him. He might have closed that same site directly if he was forced to visit it. Different sites, different situations. That's why i'm asking if someone actually did test this with a lot of sites and a lot of traffic. Specifically with blogs. |

mostly direct to paysite.
however good idea would be to mix it all: pic and/or text link to fhg, post with internal wp gallery and text link to paysite, pic directly to paysite, even a random pic with text not linked anywhere. |
do both. link to the content - or host it yourself - and have a call to action at the bottom to the paysite. like this http://www.iseekgirls.com/2012/03/22...-and-cumshots/
no problem. |
make your blog post the fhg so they dont need to do the extra step

use a gallery plugin for pic gals / blog posts it will help your time on site and bounce rate as well.

Anyways, this is a good thread...was curious about this as well. |
my main point is to make sales, so for me is most important to inject my cookie into surfer, so i am using as short linking as possible, but if someone is making sales from selling traffic, sure is better to have own fhgs on own servers and so ... you know, have luck! :)

I do both, link the image to the FHG and in the description after writing about the gallery using my targeted keywords, I sometimes add a one liner selling text centered and below the text with something like "For more full length HD 'niche' videos, check out 'Sitename' with an auto link linking to the tour or join page. Even more so when I'm trying to push dollar trials to get PPS on sites that I don't think will rebill or haven't rebilled in the past with text like 'Join SITENAME for just a buck now!'.

Send them to the tour. Don't add in an extra step, and don't give them free porn.

BTW now i got your attention. Is there a limit when it comes to link exchanges you do per blog? What is your strategy on that?
:pimp |

(You can do the same thing with 2-5 backlinks by changing the footer.php in each template used using WP or WPMU..) With good handwritten blogs that you want to do better, try making a handful of quick blogs with the same niche and just one way link those to your better blogs and link wheel those feeders to themselves and do usual ping and directory submission. (Keeping a list of good high PR adult blog directories that don't need recips is very helpful for these, especially the ones that don't have a submit limit. Hard to find, though) I also use bulkping.com for backlinks on new blogs to index faster. Since it takes a while and you can only have one instance of it running at a time per browser, I open it in FF, IE and Chrome with 3 different blogs and let it run every night.. Quote:

Now i know i'm pushing it but you don't want to share those hard to find PR adult blog dirs that don't need a recip i guess :winkwink: |
"in the shared box to show on them all instantly" what does this mean though?
