We have been using CCBill forever and are very happy with their system. Generating reports can take a few seconds sometimes but considering all the queries to all the tables of all the databases it probably has to make to provide Real Time data, there's nothing at all to complain about. And any time we had a problem. CCBill provided INSTANT support. Maybe you should send an email to your CCBill rep, and politely ask him if CCBill's speed will improve in the near future. Your CCBill rep went out of his way to get you setup, and if the higher-ups at CCBill saw this post, they just might ask him why he stuck his neck out for you. Not cool. |
We tried Sliiing out and are so glad we did....instant loading stats are a revolutionary and bold new concept for displaying stats :)

there are good peeps at CCBill and they know i like them - but still i would never praise their backend... |

Question of the Day: How many times do you push the "LOOKUP" button until your ccbill stats appear?

My advice is to call CCBill so they can tracert your IP. Also, run short reports; CCBill should not allow those 2,3,4 year span reports because they will never compile. I use ccbill stats daily and they flat out work. 3rd party stats are huge pain in the ass, cost a lot of money, and do you really want to share your numbers and stats with someone else in the business? Not a good idea at all... Here is what you need to know hits:cash

My stats almost always work fine. There is a 10 to 60 second delay when doing a lookup but it isn't a big deal. Keep in mind how much data those databases are holding. They have millions of sites, urls, transactions, and webmasters going back over a decade. Sales on the other hand are what I am most concerned with.

Every morning I log on CCBill and open three windows for my daily reports. I input the parameters on one window for one report and click view report. I follow that process on the next two windows. I then go back to window one and my data is there! Same in windows two and three. I then enter the numbers into my Excel docs and check out my charts. Problem solved.
I never considered posting on boards and capitalizing curse words to my third party payment processor. |
Just asked our billing guy about this.
He's hasnt had any issues. Sales are up too. FTW! |

I still need to click the 'lookup' button 20 times to get stats to load. #annoying

Couchbase, RTDW, XML feeds, datalink that allows more than 1 request an hour, API endpoints, export data on insertion, event queues, multi-platform delivery, IoS/mobile friendly front ends, analysis options on tracking, pass through parametrics, even some form of rudimentary caching, automated data export, menu system that makes sense, easy configuration of access control for administrators, graphical display of selected data, support that doesnt want your passport number every time you call them, sensible form creation options and ability to easily display non-US currencies and a cascade flow system that makes sense.
Hmmm, nope none of those but a nice fat double digit comission charge :) |
I had hardly any sales with CCBill in the beginning of the month and then all of a sudden I'm getting loads of them all at once, always seems like that happens with them.
But yeah their backend is a pain in the ass! |

chrome
google chrome won't open stats from this month. Other browsers work fine.

I tried to add a new account, pricing etc, a 10 minute job took well over an hour because pages wouldn't load, euro prices entered in as dollar, setting the affiliate payout to 50 in the field value wouldn't take because it wasn't numeric even though it was 50... these problems, although tedious, are a massive pain in the ass day to day, and there's no excuse for not fixing them. CCBill have many great qualities, and we too have been with them for years and years. But it would be nice if they'd listen to customers once in a while, feels like we are ignored. |
Rolling in the 1990s like ccbill and mc hammer
|
cant touch this

That would explain the rush of sales after hours of nothing. Seems to be a trend for everyone who uses them. However, my test sales always go through. So who knows? |
i have been finding it better using Firefox than chrome
|
yeah stats freeze for a longer time now.
also i noticed i have rebills this month for which i didn't have signups or rebills last month... everything is ok at ccbill :thumbsup http://www.welovetheiraqiinformation...7-minister.jpg |
