NATS- WOW! I never saw a shittier system
Alright,
As you know I come from the mainstream affiliate world. The world where we have proper tracking. Where we can add sub ids easily and generate easy reports. We have HasOffers and other system. Now I got into the adult industry and it seems everyone are using NATS. WTF ?!?!? It's the worst thing ever created for someone who is running paid traffic and wants to do some serious split testing and have proper stats. Generating links - SHIT Grabbing creatives - SHIT Stats reports- SHIT wow. I'm simply shocked people actually use a system like that in 2012. What do you think about that? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Kal |
I have a tracking platform that does exactly what you want and will work with any program. If interested, contact me here http://www.xxxinsights.com/contact-us/
It's beta for now but works like a charm |
The simple solution here is to write your own.
Don't get me wrong, nats has a ton of things that can be done better - a ton - but when your choices are limited to biller (if you think nats is bad, try ccbills back end), mpa3 (I don't know anything about it so can't comment) and nats, you either use what's available or create your own. |
Most are using ccbill.
Welcome to GFY. |
Wait until you try CCBill, you'll love it :1orglaugh

You'd be rich. |
I just think you're not experienced enough to work with NATS,
to archieve the results you want. This is not ment to blame/flame/make fights, but all what you said is in my litle NATS knowlegde very easy to do. |

Ok, now tell us exactly how you feel...:winkwink: Welcome to GFY BTW :thumbsup Yes, we use NATS :pimp |
This rant has nothing to do with me!!
I will keep my rant to my own thread.... |
DarkJedi: HasOffers already beat me to it. I can't see a single feature NATS has that HasOffers doesn't do better. I just don't get it... Maybe I'm missing a magical feature that is only relevant in the adult industry but from what I saw so far, NATS should be burned. In terms of usability and features it's simply bad and outdated. It's like someone still using Windows 3.11. Fuck this shit. I'd rather have a lower conversion rate or payout and work with an offer that works on HasOffers. This is simply ridiculous.

OMG - Its a NATS damage control bot!!!
lol - Somebody broke it though! Its hilarious.... |

There is definitely a market for it. |
i'm no nats genius but all of that can be easily done.

I think NATS 4.1 is pretty good.

Your talking shit to NATS but how is hasoffers???
Take a look http://www.hasoffers.com/pricing/ I never think that a tracking software has a limitation of hits! We called tracking software not a metered tracking software! |

Only thing I don't like about NATS is you can't create campaign links on the fly inside links. You have to make each one inside your affiliate panel.

Obviously you don't know the NATS system very well... |

I don't use NATS, but TooMuch has been around for a long time and have good reviews. Maybe you are just facing a steeper learning curve than you expected? |
You said it. It blows me away too, that NATS is the industry leader in affiliate tracking software.
Not to mention CCBill, you'd think with the $100's of millions they've made, they'd give webmasters something worthwhile and something that didn't look so 1997. |
So from what I am seeing hasoffers costs roughly twice what Nats costs to get started, and it's not clear whether it integrates with billers.
|
Lol

You should pick up a manual

WOW. The ferociousness of people defending NATS. Any stock holders here? Find it amazing that people who didn't try something else are defending it like it's the best thing since sliced bread. It's like saying Hamburgers are the best thing in the world? "Did you ever try steaks?" "No, but I simply know Hamburgers are the best thing in the world". NATS - No easy way to add variables and subids to links, no reports for day parting (yea I'm sure conversions for CAMs are at the same level all day, and not mostly at launch breaks of fat american executives and like to wank off and tell a pretty .ru girl what to do. Would be great to see that no?). So much data you can gather with awesome tracking that it's a sin to not do it. Good we had an open discussion about the pros and cons of nats here. Peace to the hustlers and grinders, and a big gfy to all the sheep and haters. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Kal |
nats is average and ccbill is stuck in the 1990s...

I use my property tracking system, but I do need some data from the advertiser to track the conversions through the entire flow. And that is where NATS pale to other aff tracking systems. |
Nats 4.1 is actually fairly nice IMO. It has many tools for the affiliate which most aren't even aware of.
|
This guy seems completely serious, lol.
