Should I ?
|
|
Why not?
Life is short, and you work hard - But - You cant take it with you, and I'm sure that when you are on your deathbed, you wont want to be thinking - I wish I had... |

Hell yes post pics when you get it
|
I say go for it! :thumbsup
|
Aye, why not...
|
Yes you should and enjoy every damn second driving it. I had a phone call last night with my aunt who is watching her husband die from cancer and she told me he has no regrets and is ready for it. Don't ever be in a situation where, as Currentlysober said, you are thinking "I wish I..."

test drive, then the charger.. report back here!
|
You cannot go wrong with a red camaro z28! Go Mark just go get it!!!

it is fun to drive, I think I am getting old because I drove it and the charger and ending up buying a new charger. They both drive great but the charger just has so much room all over. I might end up getting a camaro again since I have had about 10 of them but either way you will be happy I think

and if you buy it you might as well get the domain to go with it www.2013camaro.com

I have not been impressed with the material feel of these vehicles. If I were to buy a budget sports car, I'd go with the 2013 Porsche Cayman S. Really the best bang for the buck, and Porsche materials and craftsmanship. The difference is night and day.

You had 10? Really? I've owned 10 Firebirds..! First was an 87 Firebird, then 89 Formula, then 91 TransAM, then 94 GTA... etc... the last was a TA Ram Air in 2001. |

Simple as :) |
Yes, you should.
Life is way too fucking short. If you can afford, knock yourself out. I drove Mustangs for way too long. I was blind to other cars. My last Mustang was laser red, super charged, 0-60 in 4 seconds. Awesome. For some reason two years ago I just sold it and tried something new. Much to my surprise, my daily driver ended up being a beat up on Chevy Stepside truck - so unlike me. But I'm looking for my next project. I want to buy and fix up cars that I always wanted as a kid - Trans Am, maybe a Porshe 928. Knock yourself out. Don't die with regrets. |

If you do get one, opt for the ZL1. We had an SS, and liked it. Probably would have bought the ZL1, but decided to get the 2012 Corvette instead. |

buy the car, it will never cheat on you, won't ask for alimony when you get rid of it, and depreciates in value a lot slower than saggy tits. |

Joking aside, there's a number of reasons why I would never buy a 928, or any old vehicle for that matter. Yes, I wanted one too. I think they're beautifully designed vehicles. But the problem with bleeding edge performance and technology is that it tends to not stand the test of time. Most of the 928's that were parked outside for extended periods now have cracked dashes, leather seats are cracked too. Oil leaks on those old Porsches are super common and insanely expensive to fix. Generally speaking, they're too expensive to own for what they give you. And they're not exactly fast compared to today's vehicles. Have you seen the new Porsche 991? Now that's something I'd love to own. |

Sorry... :( |

especially when you're in a country that allows max 65 mp/h but yeah, the 928 are extremely expensive to maintain. if you're not an enthusiast with deep pockets you better get something different |
sure!!!!

Go ahead if you really want it!

The picture I posted is of a 2SS with the 1LE package (performance extras, black hood). The ZL1, not ZR1, is the one I'm looking at (you'r right). It has the super charger with scoop-like things on the hood, and a different beak. |

It's an American made car. Buy if you plan on selling before 75k miles.
|
Get a black one though :2 cents:
