Infowars? LOL

OneHungLo 10-17-2013 01:04 AM

Is this doom and gloom? No, just a customer who failed to meet the minimum deposit requirements for the business checking plan they chose.

There's nothing about it on their bank's websites, and the only other websites that are reporting this all got the story from infowars. I will bet $10 that its just more fear mongering bullshit from the Glenn Beck wannabe.

Captain Kawaii 10-17-2013 01:19 AM

Well, Chase is in trouble. They are about to get bitch slipped out of their collective chair.

And, from Forbes and WSJ the war on money laundering is heating up. What else can the US do when it is going belly up come January or March or May 2014 etc. lol. Pick a date, anything's good. Soonish.

The world is de-Americanizing. :2 cents: And Chase has money worries.

MrDeiz 10-17-2013 01:22 AM

what Paxum says?

marlboroack 10-17-2013 02:03 AM

what PayPal says?

Emil 10-17-2013 02:12 AM

I think Paxum uses Choice bank....

Barry-xlovecam 10-17-2013 02:22 AM

The disaster coming may be more Chase's than an imminent global financial collapse. This is all about selling survival products to nutters.

Roald 10-17-2013 03:33 AM

So what bank is Paxum using?

We did not receive such a letter and we do plenty of international transfers, sounds like a hoax

that doesn't sound promising, I didn't receive anything but my banker did call me several time asking me to come to the bank since they wish to give me a higher limit on my credit card. I have been traveling for close to 6 weeks but haven't been informed of any letters.
what account type are you using? I got normal ones and the analyst one for wires

normal biz.... no out of country wires and I don't use cash so it's no big deal to me... sounds like drugs/terrorism BS to me... if I need to start wiring funds out of the country I'll speak with chase... pretty sure they will have some option for that

EddyTheDog 10-17-2013 05:01 AM

Its strange how some people instantly see the end of the world and others see it as a greedy bank trying to make more money...

I am going for the latter - They are putting restrictions on 'low end' accounts so you have to upgrade and pay more if you need those facilities.....

nin 10-17-2013 05:20 AM

Choise bank have nothing in common with chase. Sleep well. Our money are still safe.

ctggls 10-17-2013 05:40 AM

From payoneer website:

The Payoneer Prepaid MasterCard is issued by Choice Bank Limited or First Covenant Bank, member FDIC, pursuant to a license by MasterCard® International Incorporated.
MasterCard® is a registered trademark of MasterCard International Incorporated.

From Paxum

- "Card" means Paxum card which is issued by Choice Bank LTD, Belize to the Cardholder on behalf of Paxum Inc, Belize and is an optional feature of the e-wallet.

So CHOICE NOT CHASE

interesting that moving 80K-100K a month is 'low end' isn't it...

Firestarter30 10-17-2013 05:51 AM

Guys other bank is Chase Bank, and other one is Choice Bank (that is issuing out cards).
So relax...

RuthB 10-17-2013 06:58 AM

Thanks to everyone that helped clear up the confusion.

Paxum uses Choice Bank, not Chase Bank. :thumbsup

I would guess that Chase is trying to prevent funds migrating elsewhere (being repatriated or just moved overseas?) from Chase depositors.

^^^this

from what I've heard only select and classic business accounts will restrict international wire transfers. Premium business accounts won't.

baddog 10-17-2013 11:19 AM

Reading comprehension around here sucks.

Rochard 10-17-2013 11:26 AM

Oh no, they figured out we can move money around.... Or maybe they just decided it was no longer profitable for them to allow international wires. Sounds to me like a business decision.

_Richard_ 10-17-2013 11:32 AM

yes, nothing to see here, move along folks

any wires over 10k for canada now has to be 'approved'. all tied in to terrorism laws.

now all this

i am sure everything is fine tho. it's not like it was your money anyway.

and for all you, 'it's not true till i read it on fox'ers..

http://www.forbes.com/sites/halahtou...rawals-either/

here is the paid propaganda confirming all these fears, and confirming how interested this bank is in keeping the disinformation flowing.

Sucks small business now has to pay up front to send an international wire to.. use.. their.. own.. money. but, hey, any naysayer is obviously a communist.

_Richard_ 10-17-2013 11:50 AM

now it's being reported they have cash withdraw limits of 2k?

Small business is free to use one of hundreds/thousands of other banks.

I switched my bank just last month because I did not like the original bank.

Wow. Incredible. A working solution. Shocking.

It's more fun to speculate on JP Morgan and Chase that they will fall flat on their ass. (The heritage of the anti-trust robber baron JP Morgan of the late 1800's.)

In reality they are too entrenched into the American economy to fail -- but it's fun to wish them the best :321GFY
