Just got a wire transfer of $200,000 from bitstamp for some of my bitcoins
bank teller asked me who the hell sent me $200,000 from slovenia
I started telling her that I had received an email from a fairly high ranking member of the USSR politburo who was asking for assistance in retrieving proceeds of underhanded Jewish dealings from the fall of the soviet union. she looked faintly horrified. I then told her that I was joking and that it was proceeds of sales of a made up internet currency called bitcoins, and that it would likely eventually spell the end of the banking system as we know it. And with that, I left. http://i.imm.io/1jlQX.jpeg |
12 dollar transfer fee is funny
kudos to you |

Fucking retards :2 cents:

You do realize that until the WORLD BANKING SYSTEM officially recognizes bitcoins as currency, you're playing with fire right? All you need is a room full of bankers or international finance and/or governments to declare it's not a currency, make it illegal, and it's use money laundering then it's game over.
:2 cents: |
I don't think that would make it game over at this point... I think it's got legs at this point.

Legs? Sure. But that's not enough based on the way the current system is structured. |
congrats to the winners

Good for you. Well played.

The last thing you want on your hands is some nosey fat bank teller bitch who has nothing to do all day but sit on her ass and make change and gossip with the other fat bitches working the counter....about your account. It's dumb bitches like that who run their mouth trying to be more important than they are.....when regulators and inspectors come to the bank ..."Oh, we had this guy who had $200,000 in money transffered from Europe. I have a better idea. Put my money in that little envelope and focus on the hard things of your job....like trying to figure out what flavor dum dum pop I want with my money.. |

Yeah, because governments have a long track record of allowing their power base to be eroded. Get real. |

I sold out too, hoping it'll have a mini-crash so i can buy back
I want to be involved when it hits $1k/each. China, Canada and lots of other countries are joining in on giving BTC some lovin', not sure why so many people think/say USA banks/gov can stop BTC from being worth anything ...remember guys, USA is a country, it's not the world :) |
...oh, btw, Lychen, nicely done man!!!!

There is nothing rude about telling somebody to mind their own business and that your private matters are none of their business. What is rude is thinking that your job entitles you to be nosey into your customers banking affairs, just because you facilitate their money movement. |

Nice, congrats :thumbsup

My point is to stand up for yourself and not let people walk all over you constantly and make you the person who always has to give in or find an alternate solution because your too worried about what people think. Act like you have a damn pair occasionally...the secret to life is knowing whose ass you have to kiss and whose you don't. |

Bank tellers are trained to notice certain behavior and transactions. Part of training is listed below ……. "Common" forms of suspicious behavior" *THE CUSTOMER REFUSES TO EXPLAIN WHAT HE OR SHE IS DOING, AND IMPLIES THAT THE TELLER HAS NO BUSINESS BEING CURIOUS. I'm not an ass-kisser, I'm not a tough guy idiot either. Your exact immature behavior is one of the main tells for filling out a suspicious behavior report! . |

These days if you start giving an attitude or start asking the teller why they are asking you questions about your money it's considered a red flag and the scenario MikeFold posted above begins :disgust |

I was raised not to pry into peoples personal affairs. If they want you to know something, they will tell you. I raise my son the same way. Keep what you want to yourself. You're not under any obligation to tell anybody anything you don't want them to know. People will try to pump as much information out of you as possible if you let them and for the most part they do it to use it against you... Learn to keep your mouth shut...on both sides of the fence.... |
