What would it matter if I'd been there or not? Visiting a country as a tourist gives you no insight, it's a distorted view. You need to spend a long time in a foreign country and live among the locals, from different social classes, and talk to them to get a real understanding of a country.

But yes, Dubai is a modern day Casablanca and it's total hypocrisy, we all know the rich Arab Muslims are immoral freaks and these young Jihadists are just recruited violent losers for the most part - I'm sure there are some who talk the talk and walk the walk truly believing they are fighting for Allah vanquishing his enemies.

Don't even compare that slight prejudice in Europe, with what happens not only in Dubai, but also in other muslim countries, like Maysia etc. How they treat bangladeshi and similar people. Not even close to how you was treated in Europe.
