So with all the HD mobile phone cameras and whistleblowers there should be daily evidence or whats the case?

the case that there are no UFOs thus no evidence?
Sounds pretty simple.

Valid point. We capture nearly everything on video these days - everyone always has a video camera on them - and you would think there would be a huge increase in UFO videos.... Yet there isn't.

What's up with that?

The media doesn't bother putting it on the news anymore because the govt. makes sure that anyone reporting anything is assumed to be crazy.

Start watching the History Channels "UFO Hunters". Plenty on there.

Having said that...I'm of the belief that people are seeing secret military craft. Which is why the govt. tries to discredit any sitings.

I see up to 10's of them flying by night at the same time. They even have green and red sidelights to denote their flight direction :upsidedow

That's because its true. People who believe that funny looking lights in the sky can only be beings from another planet, are crazy. They refuse to accept plenty of evidence that contradict their own beliefs, and assume that the "evidence" is some kind of plot to discredit them. They are crazy.

What's "up", is that there are no true flying saucers. There are no aliens visiting us, there was no space ship that crashed in Roswell, nothing at all.

You mean plenty of crazy idiots who use pseudo science, blurry photos, conspiracy theories and 3rd-hand stories told by other crazy people to reinforce their own beliefs? Yep there are plenty on their alright.

Not necessarily for the theories, but to see some really cool ancient temples and artifacts.
Especially some of the huge ancient temples and pyramids in South America and Asia

UFO Hunters or whatever is media too, by the way. But to this govt. stuff; there isn't that much about the UFOs outside US neither. In case you have no access to information about/ from the rest of the world, so now you know.

There is hundreds of daily signing's, I assume most of them or damn near all, are drones, planes, test planes or ships, or a natural phenomenon . That being said, there are a few instance, like that Chinese flight where the hole plane saw a space ship the size of 6 football fields, but who knows.

Kodak still offers up a huge cash reward if anyone in the world can prove that this image was faked in any way. Was long before digital capabilities and nobody saw that figure in the background with their naked eyes at the time it was taken. Which was in 1964.

6 football fields is quite big. You can see even the international space station from Earth (unless it is cloudy), not to mention something that is as big as 6 football fields.

Do you have source for that?

Ok. I'll admit I'm a SCiFi fan... so I like the whole UFO idea. Yet I'm also a skeptic... so not convinced. But to return to the original question, and also in my "sceptic mode" ;-) : Let's face it, even if there was a real sighting of an UFO, the wobbly, out-of-focus, amateur shot or recording would not convince us with the whole gamut of quasi- documentary fiction, and our subconscious so used to Hollywood production standards, that I'd almost assert a REAL extraterrestrial could be walking down the street and most people would only real their eyes assuming another juvenile on his way to a cosplay event.

Has anyone ever tried to capture even a plane at night on a camera in the city?

Well I have and its fucking tough. Same with the other. Using a dedicated higher end consumer hd cam. Couldn't pull focus on the lights due to pollution.

In short, it ain't easy.

Yeah, now that everyone has an HD camera and video with them ... suddenly we have next to no Bigfoot sightings, no ufo sightings, no ghosts etc.

The Soviet Union once officially allowed journalists to report on UFOs and had to shut that down quickly as journalists across the country began reporting and describing in detail "UFO sightings" which were almost always weapons/flight/missile tests.

I was speaking about the kind of media you referred. Not that much about UFOs in mainstream media. Something now and then, but the problem is that there is not that much to make news about; other than "fairytales". Most news are more like; "UK ufo archive opened to public." or something like that. Something that can be confirmed. But also few UFO sighting news now and then, maybe once in a year.

My point you didn't like about; was that there are shit loads of governments, countries, people, etc. around the world. So, unless you claim that all governments are in this "making UFO sighting people to look like crazy", etc., it is not that good argument. So, in over-simplified; my point was, that even if your country is similar to North-Korea or something like that, not all countries are.

I'm not "into it" or making the argument.

I'm just saying that I enjoy watching the UFO shows on history channel because they are entertaining.

Again, I'm not saying I "believe" any of it. I'm just pointing out that you are trying to insinuate that it's just a stupid "redneck" American thing. It's not. Some of the biggest UFO sightings in the world have happened in other countries. And yes they scrambled their military planes to try to intercept many of them too.

You got my point all wrong. For example your first link: I already mentioned in the same message you quoted that we have news like "UK opened ufo archives".

Lets get this even more simple: some UFO hiding would require worldwide efforts from governments and all sorts of entities.

My second point was that there is not that much about UFOs worldwide, in the news I mean. So, the conclusion is pretty much that there either is succesful worldwide joint effort to hide UFOs, or there is not that much to make news about. You know, as merely UFO is not a news. "We saw something we didn't identify. Call the press!"

My point was no way that just some American rednecks make UFO sightings.
