Trump on Losing"It's OK""I'll go Back to a Very Good Way of Life" Take a Long Vacation

He's definitely ready to throw the election :2 cents:

Another attempt at throwing supporters under the bus by basically saying"You'll be screwed but I'm gonna have a great life and very long vacation" :1orglaugh

---
"Look, all I do is tell the truth," he said. "I'm a truth-teller. All I do is tell the truth, and if at the end of 90 days I've fallen short because I'm somewhat [not] politically correct even though I'm supposed to be the smart one and even though I'm supposed to have a lot of good ideas, it's OK. I go back to a very good way of life."

"Just keep doing the same thing I'm doing right now and at the end, it's either going to work or I'm going to, you know -- I'm going to have a very, very nice, long vacation."

At least he tried ...

One of the things I've never understood is why someone who is so old would want to be President. Once past 65 or even 60, it's time to slow down and start relaxing and start thinking about retirement. The last thing you want at that age is to high stress job that requires 14 hour days six days a week.

Don't tell me Trump - or even Clinton for that matter - is so damn patriotic that they are doing this "for their country". I don't believe that for a moment. And they surely aren't doing it for the money either.

Trump would want the power to obtain more wealth & mitigate his legal downward spiral.

Clinton wants the power to elevate the country & make us stronger. Her & Bill as a team can really catapult us beyond what we've ever been as a nation.

He could buy an island and retire with his wife.... I know I would.

Power is a very seductive thing.

I've wondered that too.

I think it is one of 2 things: 1) If you are a politician, like any job, you climb the ladder of success to try to make it to the top.

2) If you are very rich and old, you are probably bored. Your business doesn't excite you anymore, you've been everywhere, seen everything, etc. Why not run for president?

Great points! For Trump it will give him something interesting to talk about the rest of life "remember when I was in Miami on stage and..." Trump DEFINATELY doesn't want to sacrifice the next 4 years. He doesn't have the discipline or desire :2 cents:

I am sure they only have one spare cot in their room. Where would Joshua sleep?

He threw it the moment he looked like getting the nomination.

Especially if you're someone who loves getting attention.

The "News" are a conglomerate of businesses subject to sucking in profits, at any cost.

https://youtu.be/bq2_wSsDwkQ

They are masking their paid ads ('attack pieces too') as news. They are paid ads

https://youtu.be/E_F5GxCwizc

Don't get confused. The 'facts' are stretched at best, most of the time they are outright lies. Clinton is a career criminal. Like the rest of the do nothing politicians in D.C. on both sides of the isle.

Is trump your perfect image of a statesman? No. But those guys have been ass ramming all of us for years. So fuck them and anyone who is dumb enough to believe they want to lift the country.

Johnson and Ward should run for CONgress. There they might actually do good. In reality, they will just make it easier for HRC to get elected.

But hasn't that always been the case?

I just don't get this.

I used to be a hardcore Republican. I joined the US Marines under under Reagan. "We are going to beat the communists". But I was stunned at what happened during the Whitewater investigation. Somehow a small investigation into a an investment in Arkansas ended up with the President being faced with lying under oath or admitting in front of his wife (and the rest of the world) that he had cheated on his wife? At what point in time did our government become more interested in trying to make a President look bad instead of doing their job?

Clinton is a career criminal who has been investigated countless times, yet never been charged with a crime?

Obviously how the emails were handled at the State Department is a huge concern to the Republican party. And it should be. Why aren't we looking into other secretaries of state who had a similar email set up? Why aren't we investigating Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice?

I demand an investigation into why we haven't had an investigation into Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice and how they handled classified emails when they worked at the State Department.

Paul Markham 08-12-2016 11:19 PM

Do people still vote for this oaf?

Well, Clinton is a politician and a criminal. I honestly can't find a good reason why Trump (a hard core business man) would want the job. So I think he really does want to better the country and he's right about ISIS on the whole.

He was complaining about the direction of the country for many years before his presidential bid. I think he would shake things up if he got in because he would break the chain of boring and predictable, disasterous presidents.

If I had to choose, I would vote for Trump.

He thinks he has nothing to lose, each man for himself, same mentality as Bush2.

Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, Trump! One less demagogue we need to worry about.

And... I just don't get this. She is a criminal? Has she been convicted of a crime? Has she been charged with a crime? We sure have had a lot of investigations into her, and yet no proof of any criminal activity.

I was thinking about all of this today while I was exercising.... The Republicans are saying "Clinton works for the big banks". Um.... That's a joke, right? Clinton gave some speeches. On the other hand you have Trump who pretty much dominates the larger banks and has for decades. Who is crooked?

artwilliams 08-14-2016 12:36 PM

I can't wait for Clinton to debate Trump. He is sooo out of his league.

(Actually, I think he might quit before or make some reason not to attend. He's got to know it will be brutal.)

Wow so you know more than the FBI , CIA and 20 years of investigations into Hillary Clinton that have proven her clean & innocent time & time again. You're smart , or brainwashed 👍

onwebcam 08-14-2016 12:50 PM

Sorry to break it to you but every poll I've seen that isn't controlled (ie. someone is given a list of names and numbers to call) show Hillary's support is a reflection of her rally turnout. What the establishment pollsters want us to believe and the real numbers are opposite. Two polls I've seen in just the past 24 hours show Hillary head to head with independents Stein and Johnson. These are people actually anonymously selecting a choice as they would in a voting booth.. Clinton is going to get slaughtered if she doesn't get a lot of dead people behind her.

artwilliams 08-14-2016 12:52 PM

A lot of the Clinton Foundation goings on look very suspect. Clinton certainly doesn't appear to be clean but that still beats a racist and bully with the maturity of a 12 year old.

So dozens of polls by established pollsters are faked?

Faked? somewhat.. Such as admitting they are adding and subtracting percentage points due to circumstances such as the conventions rather than re-polling. Then you have to consider the bias behind the pollsters themselves. Most of these pollsters are diehard establishment.
