I am going to speak on mark prince's and rochard's behalf and say it is because of her self proclaimed temporment and 30, yes 30, years of experience!

Being an actual Hillary supporter seems to be an absolutely miserable experience for most of them. So angry and bitter...

loreen 10-31-2016 04:46 PM

Why without using the name Trump?
You can win something just because your competitor is (much more) less deserving than you.

altmman 10-31-2016 04:57 PM

Ok I'll bite.

I honestly voted for her because:

1. She has made it easier for sick people to get prescription drugs cheaper. Republicans answer is to pray the sickness away and send a check to the 700 Club and Jesus will heal you.

2. She wants to lower sentences for illegal drugs and have no jail-time for illegal marijuana use.

3. She supports Planned Parenthood which has helped me, a man, when I had ongoing pain in my abdomen and no insurance get a screening for testicular cancer. Its not just 'abortions'. Republicans hate PP but its a wonderful service that helps so many people.
I don't care how tough someone thinks they are, when you have pain in your gut and its growing you are scared shitless, thank GOD for PP.

4. Thanks to Obamacare I got insurance, went to a doctor and found out I had diabetes.
15 months later, thanks to medicine and seeing a Dietitian (again thanks to Obamacare) I lost 40 pounds and my diabetes is gone down to a prediabetes level.
I no longer take metformin/medicine, but I have to monitor it now.
Without Obamacare I was on my way to a diabetic heart attack, neuropathy, sight loss all started showing early signs in me.

5. I dont want another Scalia on the Supreme Court that overturns same sex marriage or affordable health care. I dont want to go back in time 30 years.

6. There have been great breakthroughs in medicine the past few years and I want to see it keep going. I dont want to see conservative Christians stop the progress like they did under Reagan and Bush.
Lets keep the medical research going and cure some fucking diseases already.

7. She actually believes in global warming and wants to do something about it.

8. I know a few gay couples who are legally married now and I dont want a bunch of old assholes to overturn that.

9. Republicans have named porn a "public crisis" (are you fucking kidding me?) and under Obama the porn has flowed no problem, no indictments. Under Bush and Republican rule is when we had the most problems with selling porn.

Now with using the word Trump:

Trump is the worst candidate I've ever seen. A man with zero political experience and no patience who loses his cool when someone asks him a hard question. He's never even been a mayor or governor before and he has no idea how to fix anything. How can he expect to be President with no experience?
How can you vote for a guy who has Twitter wars with everyone? He should know not to respond.
But he can't help himself, like a teenager.

I dont understand how anyone could see him in the debates with his inability to articulate and his herky-jerky arm motions and his huffing and puffing, he looks like a sleazy used car salesman.

I'm ALL FOR a businessman running the country. I voted for Perot. I like Bloomberg and would vote for him. I liked Romney's business accomplishments.
But Trump is so delusional with his personal drama (because its fun for him). That's not world leadership.

Trump acts like a whiny spoiled teenager with no experience. :helpme
Hows he gonna 'Drain the swamp' with no experience? He wont drain jack shit because he doesn't know how.

Call me cuck all you want, its the truth.

So you rather have a corrupted politician who dreams of an open border run this country? You're totally ok with having 600,000,000 new people flooding this country from South America and Syria?

Dont worry they will have a whole heap of names for you - what they wont be able to do though is articulate a rational argument against your well made points.

Prepare for the insults, and bullshit about felons, liberal media, rigged elections, sheeple, blah blah blah.

I mean come on, when did presidential candidates start to have childish spats on social media ?

FFS he declared on live TV that he will only accept the fairness of the election if he wins, I dont think I have heard anything as pathetic and childish since I was five years old.

Some people have created this fantasy world where Hilary Clinton is the devil, totally disregarding anything good she's done for the past 30 years. I'm not saying there's nothing shady about her, but there's a whole lot of shit being made up about her which is probably not true, considering the sources most of the info comes from. There's a narrative that's been upheld in conservative circles for decades, and many of you are suckers who fell for it.

I won't call you names, I won't even try to refute the few points you made... Except one. You put way too much stock in political experience. It was "political experience" that has poisoned politics to the American voter to such a degree that makes a Donald Trump presidency even remotely possible.

Am I right?

Well wheres the proof? Wheres his approval rating in anything? I just see a long list of people who were burned by him in business and personally.

No. Not really. My only point is that people a fucking completely fed up with experienced politician bullshit. That is why half of this country has flocked to him. That was my point.

Personally I think Trump won't make for a very good president either. But I, like most Americans, am sick of the lies and bullshit. If that means electing Trump will be a step away from that shit, it's a step in the right direction. Add in the fact that Hillary is the shadiest, most corrupt and despicable fraud to have run for pres since Richard Nixon and it's a fucking no brainer as far as I'm concerned. Trump all the way (as much as it pains me to say that)

CarlosTheGaucho 11-01-2016 01:37 AM

That 'without mentioning Trump' part didn't really work out did it? :)

Rationalising voting in the most corrupt presidential candidate ever with strong ties to many islamofascist tyrranies (based on actual available evidence) is not an easy task.

https://www.twitter.com/wikileaks

Too bad it's Trump who's the only viable alternative. If he can achieve 10 pct of what he announced it will be a political miracle already with all the hacks and various interest groups that will fight die hard for the status quo.

Then again if it was not for him there would be the RNC establishment candidate against HRC which would mean the elections would be sealed a long time ago already.

Well that depends what you mean by overwhelming - but given that a big chunk of your electorate have bought into the idea that Barrack Obama is a Kenyan born muslim son of Osama Bin Laden, then you have to say that he is a pretty popular guy.

so we have one person with real reasons to vote for clinton. altmman, I am not going to go down your list. my general thought is of the things you think hilary will help you with, it is her and her cronies are the reason for the problems in the fist place. I am happy you are well now btw.

healthcare and drug costs have a direct correlation to the billions of dollars the lobbyists dump into the politicians trough. get the money out of the game and the people have the chance to get laws passed that are in their interests and not the industries. single payer is a very bad option because we know how inefficient government run services are. a mix of free enterprise and pricing controls is the best option with government oversight.

the rest i may tend to agree with you. i am pro choice and i am not a fan of a government full of religious zealots. i do think there is a real porn problem today. porn is just way too easy for children to see. if it were more difficult to see I bet sales would go up, which would be a benefit to me personally.

there is no way i can vote for clinton. i believe she is dangerous. we all know she is a liar and will do anything to get elected. it seems there are other motives that go beyond the money she peddles her influence to receive. i am not a conspiracy theorist, but I do believe there is a push for a global government for which she is a driving force.

I can agree with that, but you needed someone better than trump to run here. he was unelectable before all this started and that wasn't going to magically change with some crafty campaigning.

If you had placed candidate x, that didn't have much political background as well as had no serious scandals littered across his/her portfolio candidate x would win in a landslide here. You can't tell me that there aren't people like this because there are PLENTY on both sides, we just don't here their names as often or at all because they aren't newsworthy.
