BREAKING: Harvard fires Kavanaugh from his teaching position at Harvard Law
After a story published in The Harvard Law Record on September 20th titled "What is HLS Doing About Professor Brett Kavanaugh?" it has announced today that Brett Kavanagh will not be returning to teach at Harvard Law this winter.
The announcement was made just hours after the Harvard Undergraduate Council voted Sunday night to have the credible sex assault allegations against Kavanaugh investigated before he be allowed to return to campus. "Kavanaugh, who has lectured at the Law School for a decade, is slated to teach a course titled “The Supreme Court since 2005” during the winter 2019 term. The Council's vote Sunday comes on the heels of several days of heated protests at the Law School, where some students are calling on the school to bar Kavanaugh from returning to Cambridge to teach pending a probe into the allegations." |
Common sense.

I'm just going from the link you posted up top and it said he couldn't return til investigation. Nowhere in that link you posted in the first post did it say he was fired. |

But .. But .. Butt ....
He is top notch :thumbsup Quote:

Unbelievable.
ZERO corroborating witnesses or evidence. |

The school can't employ a teacher while he is being investigated for a sexual crime. Look, I think the claims are bullshit just as much as anyone else but the school is covering their ass. |
So...just more Bladewire lies. No surprise. yawn.

Hardly a person qualified to teach about the impartiality of the Supreme Court at Harvard Law. Common sense to fire him. |

Still have yet to see the words "fired" other than this thread. |

The Dean of Harvard Law said it well: "On Friday, John Manning, Harvard Law School’s dean, who initially praised Kavanaugh as “an inspiring teacher and mentor” when President Trump nominated him in July, responded publicly for the first time, writing in an e-mail to students that “these have been painful, difficult times for our nation and our community.” “The Supreme Court confirmation fight has brought into sharp focus questions about sexual assault, fair process, fitness and character for high office, the integrity of the political process, and more,” Manning wrote. “I appreciate the many students who have spoken out and expressed views on these critical issues. “I know that many of you are unsatisfied with the answer that we cannot comment on personnel matters in particular cases,” Manning wrote. “Still, I can provide you this assurance: When concerns and allegations arise about individuals in our teaching program, we take those concerns and allegations seriously, conduct necessary inquiries, complete our process, and then act.” And now Kavanaugh is fired :thumbsup |

So far as I am concerned, this man is not qualified to be a judge no less a Supreme Court Judge. I am watching John Oliver as I type this, and they are playing clips from the hearing. Everything about his actions screams unqualified to be anything other than a fry cook. When he was asked if he supported an FBI investigation he was unable to give an answer. This man is being considered for a lifetime position in the highest court in the country; A simple question like this should not be something he has problems. He was obviously angry and mad during his confirmation hearing. Is this a man you want sitting on the Supreme Court? |

"Today, Judge Kavanaugh indicated that he can no longer commit to teaching his course in January Term 2019, so the course will not be offered," Bladeliar is back at it ...again. |
Looks like BK is right... his life IS being destroyed by uncorroborated allegations. Who can blame him for wanting to teach when there's an ASTERISK next to his name... regardless of what he does and how many FEMALE clerks he hires....?
It wouldn't matter, the CRUSHING BLUE WAVE coming this November will FLIP the Congress BRIGHT BLUE!!! |
You liberals must be proud.

He lied about being legal to drink, legal drinking age was 21, not 18. He lied about what the devil's triagle is. It's not a "drinking game" He showed his calendar which proved there was a party he was at with 3 other people the accuser named. He was questioned by police for his part in a drunken bar fight in 82, the police report was released today. This is all Kavanaugh's fault. All Kavanaugh had to do was say "I got in a little trouble when I was younger I drank a little too much with friends I was a bit perverted but things have changed a lot since then and I become a better man and I have the record to prove it." But no, Kavanaugh wanted to lie and paint himself as an altar boy that just focused on Sports and school. |

Purposely lying about drinking while under oath to be a Supreme Court Justice is not ok. He even lied saying he drank at the legal drinking age of 18 in 1982 when the legal drinking age was 21. Lame. If you're going to lie lie about something big. The GOP is going to get their ultra conservative hack justice, but Kavanaugh should not be the one, too much baggage. |

30 seconds on Google tells us who is lying right now
Quote:
You said "If you're going to lie, lie about something big." I'll add "if you're going to lie, lie about something people can't check in 30 seconds on Google." When you lie about basic facts that anyone can easily check, you just look like a pathological liar and people realize they should pay no attention to anything you say. You don't even bother to be at all careful about what you lie about. Anyone can spend 30 seconds checking it and they know for certain that you are completely full of shit. |

He shouldn't be fired for sexual assault. That's unproven.
But I wouldn't hire him for anything after his Senate hearing, watching him stammer nervously about beer and being an unhinged douche-bag. It would have been embarrassing to watch if it was anyone, but this guy is supposed to be teaching law and having a seat on the supreme court? I realize it has to be a Republican and that's fine...but we can do MUCH MUCH better than this turd. |
Napolitano thinks he's screwed.
'Highly Perilous': Judge Nap Warns of Potential Trouble for Kavanaugh in FBI Probe | Fox News Insider "It's perilous for him, he's locked in his version of events. Its not a crime to be drunk when your a kid, its not a crime to pass out when your a kid, but its HIGHLY perilous for a federal judge to state that under oath when there is now evidence to contradict it." If the FBI find evidence of a crime, "lying to congress is a crime" they have to keep digging they can't stop because the clock is up. |

People who aren't seeing the significance of these lies have their heads buried in the sand. The little lies matter. All of this stuff speaks to the man's character. |
All i know is when i think back to remember my University days, i can remember clearly the #1 student in the whole school. Basically the smartest person there being wasted and black out drunk all the time.
I am guessing Yale is so easy that the KAv was just able to party his way through it. Top students might get drunk now and then, but i am betting he didn't drink daily like it is being painted |

His life is not ruined, he is not yet confirmed, though he may be. If confirmed he will not be impeached. He resigned from teaching one Harvard class. Nowhere, in any way, does it say he was fired. Harvard Law School only said that it takes student accusations and concerns seriously. I honestly don't know how some of you function daily.
|
"The guy yelled and cried for 45 minutes on national TV, quoted conspiracies and said Democrats would pay for decades to come." Is this an example of being fair and objective as you would expect from any county court judge at least ? Let alone Supreme Court. :helpme
