Anyone waiting on a Paxum wire?
Made a withdrawal request last week and still waiting on funds to hit my bank account. It's not super late at this point, but delayed enough that I'm starting to wonder.
Have been in contact with another webmaster in Australia who also has a late wire. Has anyone initiated a Paxum wire withdrawal recently (in the past week) and they're still waiting for funds to arrive? |
I was supposed to make a thread as well.
I made a wire transfer and it was validated last July 2nd. Unfortunately, it did not reached my USD bank account yet. I am doing wire transfers for the past years without this delay, on a weekly basis. I also have pending payments from other programs. Reps say they sent wire to paxum but their money is not yet credited. So I got a lot of pending payments on que. |
Rowan, what date was your wire validated?
I am really wondering what is wrong. It usually hit my bank in 2 days.. 3 days the most. |
It's been just over a week (by calendar) since Paxum validated my wire.
5 full business days at this end. |
FWIW, I've been wiring out USD (Paxum) to a USD account (in Canada) for a few years and they are fast, usually the next day. Last month when Paxum started offering lower priced local wires in CAD funds, I tried them a couple of times and they take anywhere from 3 to 5 business days, i.e. noticeably longer.

I don't receive Paxum wires but I do send them, last week both their business name and their bank account details changed to a new bank. that could be a potential reason for the delay?

If receiving wires , like me, then there is no reason for the delay. It's validated and sent, as stated on the status. |
I spoke with a network owner that their first wire to paxum got "lost"... So they sent another one and sadly, it's no good as well

I dunno, it's a frustrating service to use at times but it's the only 3rd party system that protects me and Ruth is always awesome at getting issues sorted when they arise hope y'all get your cash soon |
5 business days for me too, since the WIRE for approved and processed. I am still waiting for the money to hit my bank account.
Dunno what's happening... It used to be fast! |
Yeah I noticed it on twitter, many people complaining about lost wire transfers. And now people who can't access their money and stop using paxum as payout method will be charged monthly maintenance fee for having inactive accounts. I'm about to fly to the next paxum sponsored summit and personally stick their maintenance fee up their assess.

I am in same situation as OP.
A wire "validated" late night Wednesday 3rd ( Australian Eastern Time ) has still not cleared. In the past year all wires have arrived into my bank account within 2 - 3 business days maximum, after changing status from "submitted" to "validated". Just received a reply from Paxum support : The payment processor is currently experiencing some delays due to the high number of requests received in a short period of time, but we're in constant communication with them and we've been assured that your transfer will be sent out within a few days. As soon as that happens, the funds can take 3-5 business days to arrive, as it all depends on banking agreements. We apologize for the inconveniences caused and we thank you for your patience and understanding. |
We are using a new wire processor and that has resulted in some delays as they adjust to our volume. Most outgoing wires have been processed and are already on the way to the respective client bank accounts. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Bump
As I mentioned in the other thread, it would be nice if Paxum proactively informed their customers of problems. By the sounds of it, this isn't something that just affects one or two people. |
I got two paxum payouts in. I guess wire issue has been fixed.

Good for those who got their payments processed. I am still waiting.. no reply from their support ye and no funds deposited in my account yet :(
|
Reply from Paxum Support:
Our accounting department has indeed validated your WIRE, however, due to the large number of transfers recently initiated, the processor has encountered delays and we are still waiting their confirmation that funds were actually sent. We are in constant communication, asking them to expedite processing and things should get back to normal shortly. Your patience and understanding are deeply appreciated. Best Regards! --- Patience running out, apparently.. Hope it gets done tomorrow :) |

Same here. Made a request on July 3rd, seemed weird it didn't arrive. I opened a ticket and was told the processing bank is delayed. Could be a few days, then 3-5 days to receive. Seriously?. 2 weeks for a wire?
Something is up. |

That is the exact same reply I got. |
Get ready for more fun in November when banks will be closed in the USA for Nov 28th - Dec 1st. Make sure to get your wires squared away by 21st of Nov.
Lots of Monday holidays coming up as well. Sept 2, Oct 14, Nov 11. You might say, well, we don't care, we aren't in America... But that doesn't stop Paxum's payment processors from shutting down on those days. |
paxum become not serious at all ..whey have problems all the time
|
Last time I checked, the bulk of the work for wires is done electronically and not by a room full of monkeys. Just our luck that Paxum choose the processor that is in fact using monkeys.
If no monkeys are involved, can imagine that the meetings between Paxum and the processor went something like this Paxum: We need a processor for wires. Processor: Do you have any historical volume figures. Paxum: Nope. Processor: Ok. Sure. Sign us up. |
