Wp Script End of unlimited licences
go figure that...
Hello ! IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Unlimited Sites will be ending very soon. We have ENOUGH of all the "cancelled" versions of our WP-Script products. They all use unlimited licenses. ENOUGH. We should have stopped this bleeding long ago. Instead we got discouraged and simply put product development and updates on hold. Who bears the cost? honest customers. This can not go on! Best regards, WP-Script Team |
Well, live and learn, I guess.
|
It's a bit of a demented rant......
They can't take away unlimited licenses for existing customers, who bought one in good faith. Well they can i guess, but that won't do their reputation much good and would lead to a lot of chargebacks by clients who have bought the script in the last 6 months. Think this needs further and a balanced explanation from them. |
kinda rude and vague. not sure what they mean actually. they should make it clear.
|
Good thing, less duplicate shit all over the internet.

Whoever is in charge of communications at that company needs to consider a career change.

What the fuck is a "cancelled" version? Google translate from Cyrillic to English didn't properly translate null3d I guess...
|
Unlimited Sites licences are still for sale.
Guess now is probably a good time for anyone considering buying before they stop. Quote:

Is not clear the info on the email, what will happen with current customers with unlimited licenses, they just can't revoke the users abusing the system, I assume they referred "cancelled" as null3d.

I just tried to add a new site and it's telling me I need to buy a plan. oh well, not the first time a script has gone "bad".
|
Never buy scripts that "calls home" licensing server or something like that. One day it may be that the seller shuts all down or disappears etc.
Of course there is way to disable those in the script if you look the code. |
i was wrong, it is still working. i hope they get things straight, the product is good.
|
So they offered a product and now rant that people use it? Or did I miss something?

That's a pretty terrible email that really explains nothing about what they are planning or why.
|
Imagine having to offer lifetime updates and support to idiotic customers like brassmonkey for the rest of your life for a one-time payment of $79.
This is the result. |

I did notice a slowdown in the 1 Time Offer emails that have no expiration.

There is also an astounding amout of people who do not understand the difference between an update and an upgrade. An update is generally an enhancement to the current version of the software or application, while an upgrade is a whole new version of it. |

^ and who might you be? What do you do in this industry? Which websites do you own?
I've sold over 10 thousand copies of Tube Ace since its release in 2008 and it took me around the world while your sorry ass never got off your porch in Louisiana. https://yt3.ggpht.com/Phe8Q9kMQJ046A...ffffffff-nd-v1 |

There was no point in re-inventing the wheel with the standalone version.
The WordPress platform offers modularity with its 60,000 free plugins and 9,000 themes in the repo while powering 43% of all websites. Cheap, illiterate morons like you are never happy. Do you realize less than 5% of my sales come from GFY? |
