You lose control of your ability to make smart purchases with your money. Also, having to help out family members and friends when they feel you need to.

Fuck, if you got too much money, you should pick up the tab. Enjoy the time you have with friends. I'd rather help family or friends out from time to time or pick up a tab and die happy having spent time with those I love than to be a recluse and die lonely.

yeah I actually do that automatically, don't even look at the price of shit I buy at the store or restaurant tabs. I don't mind that, it's something nice you can do and it's totally inconsequential to your financial situation.

You lose friends that can't keep up with your wealth.

You get lonely sitting in your big mansion.

You buy more cars than you need.

You lose your privacy because you have all these immigrants tending to your grounds and your house all day.

You think you're going to be happier and then realize the fun was climbing up the mountain not sitting on top of it.
