i never understood peeps that do. When im fucking sleeping im not letting anyone wake me up... why the fuck would you leave your cell on? Discuss.

Yes I leave my phone on for emergencies...never know when someone could have a late night car crash...and they are only alive for that 5 minutes...

Always On. With Thr ringer up to the highest bar. Then when It rings I can decide whether or not to answer it. Or call them back 15 min after I awake completely.

mine's always off unless i need to make a call... i'm not much of a phone person... i can go weeks without using it sometimes. E-mail or IM is the best way to reach me.

I've also given out my phone number to everyone on my staff and told them that if they have any serious after hour emergencies that I'm on call for them as well.

Same here. Only reason my phone is off is hospitals, funerals, movies, etc. Living in Australia means you will always get important calls in the middle of the night.
