its deff. up there with fear and loathing is las vegas, that shit on his arm was hard to take at the end though...

I heard a lot about it but not seen it. Normally films on drug addicts bore and depress me. I can't relate and it isn't that entertaining to see people fuck their lives up...

Maybe I'll give it a go as I should keep an open mind and I do love a good film!

They didnt by any means have the same concept or point, just 2 movies with heavy drug usage.

ive got a nice collection of DVD's myself, have you ever seen 'The Salton Sea'? that is an AWESOME drug movie,Val Kilmer, Vincent Denofreo (not sure if the spelling is right) have never seen 'thursday'. Will give it a look though.

I LOVE the Salton Sea...I never even heard of it til one night last year I was sitting up watching HBO and it came on...it is definitely up there on my list of favs too

Salton Sea is good, it has such a different structure to the usual addict film and Vincent D'Onofrio is brilliant!

If i ever want to see a movie that is hard to find. I locate a blockbuster who has it, and just dont return it, that have that new policy now if you dont return a movie, they just bill you the movie cost, i got "Once Upon a Time in America" which was pretty hard to find and backrodered online everywhere in a local blockbuster, told them i wasnt bring it back and took the case,

you CAN NOT find this movie anywhere.....it took me a year to find it finally on ebay...which you can find it there now, but they are all bootlegs

and oh yeah, Thursday is the only movie I have ever seen where a man gets raped....LOL...it is classic

Try the English film "Scum" - a classic about a youth prison. I think it was made in the 1970s. I have it on video but didn't find it on DVD yet. Has a rape scene in it too!
