Dear Friends,

I am excited to announce that SkinVideo?s library of videos is now made up entirely of licensed professional content and we no longer index USENET content. Having full control over our content allows us to provide our users with the best experience possible.

Over the last year I?ve been buying content in bulk, a/b testing, and making huge changes to our program. For those of you who have supported us, I thank you. We continue to align ourselves with the ASACP, we are protected by RTA blocking and we continue to be fully 18 USC 2257 compliant.

SkinVideo continues to be open to new ideas, partnerships, and affiliates. We would like to open our doors to those who have not had the opportunity to work with us in the past. 3+ years of knowingly profiting heavily from other content, encouraging affiliates to send traffic to you knowingly fucking content producers and you are seeking pats on the back now?

here is an idea, take the profits you made and distribute them according to video use to the sponsors that you made your "hard work" money from.

We sent you guys 4 emails with DMCA , without an answer , we had our lawyers call you guys...still no answer. Its not until our lawyers contacted CCbill and they threathened to shut down your processing that you started pulling the videos ...

But whatever, I guess better late than never, do it legally it will avoid you dealing with some serious issues later...Offenses of that kind will not be taken lightly...

We did have a choice, as we had other processors. We had been in hybrid mode (licensed content and access to usenet) for about a year before we stopped giving access to usenet. I had told people that we were moving in this direction for some time. Better late than never.

And again, I totally understand that I'm not going to get love from this. It's ok if people continue to dislike me, the company I work for, etc. We made some changes and I think it's for the best.

Oh and I can't believe the ones in this thread congratulating you. Especially considering some of their sigs...
